How do you transfer a RSN?

I've had 3 names sniped from me and I'm so frustrated right now.

The names...
Happen
Tires
Pristine

Have all been sniped from me. I had 2 screens open and as soon as I accepted the name change on 1 screen I went to go accept it on the account I was changing to and it had been sniped already. Within a second. On all 3 names. Now I have no names and no money and I'm just pissed off and broke lol. So how can I change a name without it being sniped?

I lost 3 names and got cleaned for 2.5b all in 1 week. Not feeling so great about it....

 

Bummer. And yeah name sniping is automated by a lot of users now.

 

Sniping is becoming far too common of an occurence lately. It seems many sniping vote are even targeting low-tier names now. The name market is in a bad place at the moment and I find that to be such a shame since that is the market I am most enjoying at the moment.

 

Where do people even get these sniping scripts from? I tried looking them up online to try and maybe snipe my names back, but I couldn't find anything or anywhere that sold them.

Serious answer is that you need a name transfer method that is probably automated // VERY niche that only a couple people know about. These few people in the know will charge somewhere around 20% for a name transfer service (some take responsibility some dont).
As sniping bots are becoming more and more sophisticated, it'll be hard to transfer an expensive name with certainty anymore tbh.

 

Well at this point the names probably gone. So I'm not too worried about naming publicly. So if anyone has the name "Happen", "Pristine", or "Tires" offered to them, they are name snipers. I can provide proof of Happen being my name and I can show discord conversation proof of me trying to purchase pristine and tires off another user in which both names were sniped from me when trying to transfer to my account after I had already paid such person for them.

 

You have no proof that they are the name snipers. They could have bought the names

 

I have never bought a name, but I assume you would want another account (including yours) that can name change. Or get in touch with someone who has some experience with name trading, and pay for their help.

 

I would highly recommend paying the little extra in fees for a professional name-transfer service advertised on the Sythe markets. Sniper bots used to leave low-tier names alone to target the incredibly valuable high-tier names, but those bots are not focusing on nearly ALL names worth ANY value.

I have a name which needs transferring at some point in the next couple of days. I have done this without help and completely by myself in the past. Considering the present day situation in regards to sniping bots I will no longer transfer names on my own no matter their value.

 

I once had a PM from a sniper in discord trying to snipe a ultra rare name from my OG rs account.. at the time i didnt really know the value of it so sold it to my best friend IRL for a few hundred pounds (GBP) - he still has it and plays actively.

I dont know what they will do long term in terms these bot snipers...

To answer your question for those type of names i really would just use a service... yes it costs but that way you know everything is above board.
