Each person has a way that they revise best. It's different for each person so I can't help there. Although I usually:
- Work out the number of pages I need to learn for a subject
- Work out the number of revision sessions I can do up to the exam
- Minus a few sessions near the exam to recap and do past papers
- Work out minimum page numbers I have to learn each session
If you do something similar to that ^^ it is really best to try and do MORE than the minimum. It will give you more time to do past papers. Past papers are great way of checking you have understood what you have learnt.
I also recommend trying to find somewhere that is quiet with no distractions around you. That includes phones and anything else. I also tend to work for 45 minutes, break, 45 minutes, break. If you keep going and don't stop you will take less in.
If you can't take something in go out for a walk, run, etc... something to take your mind of it!
Before the exam don't stay up late revising. Best thing is to stay fresh!
Best of luck
