How did you start watching Anime?

Pokemon and yu gi oh and diggimon thrn my bro started watching one piece/naruto since then watched all naruto episodes and started the new boruto also its great rlly recommend everyone to watch boruto!

 

Staying up saturday nights watching adult swim and toonami, One Piece, dragonball, and pokemon were my shit

 

I didn't even know anime existed till 2-3ish years ago when my ex made me watch Death Note with her. After that it was SAO. Was a little hesitant at first, but after those 2, I got curious and started watching some on my own. Fast forward to now, I'm a binge watching addict.

then watched yugioh and beyblade when i was a few years older

then my asian friend showed me manga which all just led to looking anime up online

 

Still a solid 8/10 would definantly recommend! (final fight is nice!)

 

Naruto, DBZ, and anything on toonami when I was youngster. I suppose a few years ago I started getting into it big time with all sorts of anime genres.

Not counting shows like Digimon, Dragon Ball Z, Pokemon, and Yu-Gi-Oh, I started watching Naruto in middle school because when I changed schools the only kids that would be my friends were the weebs. After a year or so of that though, I stopped watching and didn't start again until Junior year of highschool with FMA. I started watching because my math teacher was talking about the show with some other students after class, and I wanted to get on his good side. After that, I never stopped.

 

Must've been like 10 years ago when there was this big fuss about Naruto everywhere. Thought I'd give it a try and I instantly got hooked in. Been watching the weekly episodes ever since, along with Bleach and One piece.

 

Pokemon seems like a common answer. And I am no exception!

At first I started watching anime when I was only a kid, I used to watch Pokemon and Digimon. When I was 17 I started watching an anime called Parasyte, and it hooked me on japanese cartoons.

 

I was at my friends house on a weekend past 10 and caught a glimpse of Inuyasha on TV. Pretty sure I was about 10-11 at the time. Been on and off since but making my way back around more often lately.

 

I was introduced to anime by my Japanese friend in middle school who was a complete weeabo. Thanks to that idiot I'm pretty much one too :/

 

Alot of people in Runescape talked about it and one of my Best friend on RS that time said like
I'm gonna Watch some Anime see you later. and then i started to ask questions =)

 

well i watched stuff on Toonami and cartoon network/adult swim when i was little but wasnt "into" anime probably because I was little. my older sister was though and she bought the full dvd set of Inuyasha (half of it was subbed because this is so long ago it wasnt fully released in english yet, and thank god because this is probably why I like subbed aka dubbed is shit). So yea started watching Inuyasha here and there and eventually I decided to watch Inuyasha fully from beginning to end since she finished it and thats how it started. My all time favorite is Yu Yu Hakusho. was the 2nd anime i watched fully

 

Because Goku is a fucking badass that's why.

When I was younger I always loved DBZ and Slam Dunk but back then, I didn't know they were classed as "Anime", I really got into it a few years later when I went to a friends house and Naruto was on, Kyuubi was the first thing I saw! So I sat and watched, got hooked and started watching more from there.
