Any gay couple i know that has kids does not pressure their child into becoming gay.

You know, adoption agencies requires a lot of people. They don't just hand out kids to anyone who walks in. It must be a couple, and they must have a stable financial income, as well as being emotionally supportive like any good parent would be. You assuming a kid would have a traumatized childhood for growing up in a homosexual home is not only pretentious, but it's also offensive towards homosexuals whom are capable of giving a child a safe and secure life.

It depends on the child's views. I don't feel if a child was adopted by two homosexuals at a young age he would be able to develop his own opinion towards homosexuality, A child with homosexual parents is far more likely to support homosexuality. Lots of people don't support homosexuality and I feel forcing a child into an "unnatural" situation isn't fair. People are making a rash assumption that being in an orphanage is terrible, which I'm sure it is. But if the children have learnt to accept the fact they don't have parents, they could make a lot of it.

There are plenty of couples that can't conceive a baby naturally. These couples will either struggle from an illness or something of that kind. But when two guys get together surely they already know they wont be able to have children and I feel assuming they can adopt one is some what selfish.

I don't feel I am homophobic but I feel it's unnatural. But at the end of the day, if that's where your life leads you then so be it.

An orphanage is more like a public institution, the employees doesn't necessarily provide you with the same kind of love and stability in an as actual parents would. I would go as far as presuming they don't get any love and stability.

Their sexuality wouldn't be forced upon the child, But the child WOULD grow up with an understanding of homosexuality and would be a damn sight mor4e open minded then 75% of the members on here.

Say a teenage mother has a baby she does not wish to keep. She wishes to give it to the local gay couple down the road. What authority have you to interfere?
