Im sorry but that is totaly wrong. There was secret police EVERYWHERE in germany. Listening to what you think is a secret between you and a friend. If 1 person said, lets protest, they would of been killed on the spot, or sent to a labor camp.

The popular theory is around 20 million, Some say as high as 100 million (which I think is a bit high). Together with the lost of lives in WW2 and Hitler (Around 20 - 27 Mil). Russia would have lost close to 40 - 50 Million people. If the 100 million toll is believed together with the lost of life in WW2, Then their will be no one left in Russia. (May be 15 million at most).

What people believe about stalin ^.^

He no doubt killed more people than Hitler ever did, but the toll is still not something that can be counted.

Hitler is extremely smart. He started as nothing at all, was a messenger boy in WWI, and STILL ended up taking over germany and almost the world.

What I would of done differently was not betray Russia, made a treaty with france saying I will give you your land back if you help us fight against the USA. Then fight and win the usa, and take over the world.

If USA waited even 1 more year, hitler would of been successful with his plans of taking over the world.

I. I don't think Hitler was extremely smart. He failed his highschool studies and could not qualify the University entrance requirements. Although I'll admit he did have a natural talent for persuasion and public speaking.

II. You don't understand. For many years, Hitler promised German citizens that he would provide them with Lebensraum (living space). As the war stalled in the Western front against Britain and the African Campaign wasn't progressing much as well, a Blitzkrieg attack on the Soviet Union seemed logical. The Russians were not prepared for war, they thought the Soviet non aggresion pact with Germany would last til at least 1942-1943.

III. Lastly you're wrong again. The Soviet Union was pushing back, The British had resisted the Germans in both Britian and North Africa, the German reich was about to be invaded on three fronts. The United States although helped to win the war was not necessary for the victory of the allies against Germany. The United States played an important part however in destablising Japan and ending World War II in the eastern theater.

Actually, the reason they nuked Japan was because they were afraid that woman and children would be waiting at the beach for the troops..and they didn't want to have to kill them. Their alternate solution was dropping the bombs.

No. I'm sure the real reason was that MacArthur concluded an invasion of the Japanese mainland from Formosa and the Philliphines would take at least a year to achieve due to the impress loyalty of the people to the Emperor. They were sure there were several million Japanese men, women and children capable of carring suicide attacks/missions against American and allied soldiers.

Faced with dragging the war on another year and more Allied casaulties, the atomic bomb seemed a logical solution.

I would speak with the Japanese and tell them to not fucking touch the USA because now that we have been betrayed by the Soviet Union we can't afford another enemy. Without the US in the war there might have been a possibility of winning the war.

If you looked at it from the Japanese high command's point of view, their expansion into South East Asia was leading into an inevitable conflict with the British Empire. Also due to aggression of the Japanese in the Sino-Japanese II War and South East Asia, the USA virtually froze all of Japan's foreign assets and ceased exporting oil and other necessities to Japan. Japan out of options decided a suprise attack on the United State's only pacific fleet would paralyse the United States in the pacific and force the United States to sign a neutrality pact letting Japan to continue its Expansion into South East Asia and ultimately the Pacific theater.

If I was hitler I would not have gone after the jews so badly, losing resources. Also going after Stalin was a horrible mistake, but they both knew they were gonna fight sooner or later, being you know complete hatred of each other. I don't think he would go part Europe/Asia.

at OP even with help from france and russia the united states still would have stopped hitler, especially once they became the only nation to have nukes at the time. tbh even if britain joined hitler, the usa still would have stopped them. also, to say hitler was very smart is a moronic thing to say seeing as his decisions destroyed germany in the long run.

It isn't moronic, he brought germany up from devastation and economic crisis, and brought employment and a stable economy. He managed to convince half the country that killing people since they are "racially inferior" is right. You try do that. I don't agree with his policies, he just managed to do what he wanted to in the beginning, so he was partially successful in what he did, meaning he was a very clever person indeed.

You realize that you just said something really retarded. Russias main defence is the size of the country, but the second best defence is the climate. Hitler lost more then half his army to the bitter conditions of Russia while attacking, and had lost majorly, because of the climate, not because of the population.

I assume you are right. No one really has ever been able to take over the Russians, just due to the cold and size of Russia. Except for the Mongols... But their "taking over" was much different than other wars...

I would no doubt be listening to him because he likes me for what I look like. But I wouldn't be brainwashed because of it. If someone gives you a bunch of compliments and tells you how things could be and then tells you to kill everyone that isn't like you. Would you still listen to him or would you not?

Only if someone gave me valid reasons on how I should hate them would I actually do it. Telling someone because they're different from you and they are weaker than you, isn't a valid point.
