Highscores P2P only (Updated with Rank Differences)

Wow, so old school players who achieved 200M exp in a skill(s) won't show up in the highscores anymore?

 

Nope, unless they renew membership, which more than likely won't happen to the ones who've quit long ago; it'll be like they didn't exist.

 

What bullshit. What about the few maxed FTP accounts.

Yeah same with my main, all P2P are going to rise up in high score.

When will people learn...jagex is a COMPANY...they need to make money just like any of us...this is what they do for a living...They don't care about you or your stupid little main or w/e...they never will, they only try to make it seem like they care so you will spend more money..like a hooker who makes it seem like they are actually "into you"...

Good for them tbh, f2p are retarded and most of the time they just bot anyways...p2p players aren't really any better, but at least they contribute something...

 

They've lost a shit-ton of subscriptions from macro's, so they are doing whatever they can to get as many memberships renewed as possible by legitimate players.

Think of it that way.

 

You're playing a game for FREE I don't see how people that are f2p can complain about updates and being treated unfairly.. P2P costs like 5$ is it so hard to become a member? no.

 

I can see the rule has some valid points, however i think they should make exceptions to the rule for the "Legends" like... gertjaars or the old nite who will get wiped, The rule is fine, but perhaps they should keep certain people there as exceptions

 

i agree with the update to an extent, it does have some logic, clearing inactive accounts clogging up highscores, all the mass f2p bots who are on there, which are most likely discarded now.

however should DEFINITELY be exceptions. e.g. any f2p player with a 99 should appear, or perhaps over a particular total level.

it would be sad to see all the old legends who quit be removed from it, like they're completely forgotten. e.g. lover romeo quit didnt he? hes like number 1 player on two stats, definitely not fair to kick him off and ask for £3.50 a month to keep his name in lights.

would also be disrespectful to players like the old nite who died, just sweep him under the carpet... i dont think so.

TL;DR :

getting a 99 or a certain total level should grant you access to highscores.

 

That show us how money hungry Jagex really are.

 

It will be interesting to see who becomes #1 in each skill.

Also, if the #1 players get dropped off the list, if they renew their subscription, will they take back the #1 spot or get dropped to the bottom of the 200m list?

 

They get their spot back once they become P2P again.

No. They will not retain their rank.

I saw a video of the high lvl forums (looked for link but forgot the poster's Youtube name) where a mod had stated ranks would not be retained.

 

Mod Emilee said: "The current plan is that we will preserve their order, so no maxed out player should ever lose their position."

 

guess it will make f2p staking a little interesting. dont really see the logic in this decision though.

 

Going to take a picture of my stats today and tomorrow and see which ones changed and by how much. Im thinking a lot of the collecting skills like mining and woodcutting my rank will go up in.
