Far more evidence backing a claim than you have yet to come forward with.

Edit: Also with some background in the study of subjects such as Political Science and Psychology one learns quickly that certain terms/ideas hold slightly different meanings depending on who is using or explaining it. You are usually exposed to the most popular ones, but the focus is generally on the one that is most accepted within the field of study.

Zoophilia is the behaviour displayed as a result of zoosexuality, for all effects and purposes they are the same thing.

And I don't find anything wrong with having sexual attractions toward another species. It's disgusting, yes. But I have no problem with it, just as I have no problem with homosexuality.

I think sex with animals is quite odd I suppose that is just because I do not carry this fetish which would imply it is ignorance to say something shouldn't be allowed because it is unsettling to us. I also find the idea of "social taboos" both interesting and stimulating.

 

I think that if a foot fetish is considered "strange" but not sick, then why should sex with animals be classed as sick? It's a fetish as is liking feet or loving candle holders.

 

The way I see it, if you can't communicate with it, you shouldn't have sex with it.
EDIT: for example, how would you go about having sex with a species other than humans? Would you start to get to know each other? go out on a date? have a couple drinks then engage? It doesn't make sense, how are you just gonna go humping a dog or a horse..? It seems odd and weird..

I think that sex with animals is nasty, but thats my opinion. If a friend wanted to have sex with a dog, believe me, i wouldn't join in...but i wouldnt stop him either.

It's not for me. For others? Go crazy.

 

this taboo shouldnt be dropped, if the animals cant agree(we cant communicate with animals-for those of you who dont know) it should be considered rape. again, against the law.

 

I've had sex multiple times, and I don't think it's ever been vocally decided upon that we would have sex. It usually just happened, and there was very little talking involved.

Debate it being different all you want, it's exactly the same.

A few facts:

We all know that McDonalds' hamburger is not a nutritional diet, and there are millions of alternatives which do not involve the killing of an animal. We can thus all agree that a fast food burger is merely an enjoyable consumable that does provide us with some satisfaction.

Oh wait, sex is enjoyable and provides us with some satisfaction!

Yet... the majority of people that eat fast food have a problem with sex with animals?

Am I the only one who sees the hypocrisy?

 

Animals do not seek things for pleasure. They eat to survive. They have sex to reproduce and to keep their species alive. They only have done things for pleasure when it pertains to their own children (when still they abandon them and in some cases resort to eating them, in the wild ofc) and when humans are involved. Ex. Playing with your dog.

They cannot consent to something they are unaware of, and still how could you know that they "agree" when technically there is no way of understanding them.

In my opinion bestiality is one of the sickest things i can think of. Except for the pain olympics (love that vid).

Obviously if the animal is in pain it does not consent, but this article alone raises examples where this is not the case.

IMO, I think this shit shouldn't even be discussed. Please note that this is my opinion, and not an attempt to try and start something. As to what angel stated at what peter was asking --

I don't believe the subject should be compared to any sort of sexual activity with another human being, via Oral, or homosexuality; as comparing these with this subject is in a complete different ballpark. We, as human beings, were not created for the sole purpose of 'fucking' animals other than ourselves.. and if we bring this subject into debate, then whats going to be next; the discussion on having sex with children?

 

Why not? Both of those subjects were taboo in the past, and as society has progressed they are now accepted.

We weren't created for anything. Come to think of it, we weren't created at all.

I know, just imagine if someone was to try and have a rational debate about something which is so wrong in your own prejudiced eyes.

 

Sex with non-human animals is sick because the animal cannot say no. Period.
