First off, half the people on here made up some story about a girlfriend they dont have. just clearing that up. Anyways, my girlfriend dosent know i played runescape (that's right, past tense) because she isnt interested in these kinds of things and i dont like starting awkward conversations that would just bore her anyways.

 

Ha good question. In my town back in 5th-7th grade everyone used to play. She doesn't really care even though I'm a junior in high school now ^.^ got so lucky getting such an amazing girl haha

 

I once told her I played RuneScape, and she just replied, oh I used to play that like 4 years ago..

 

Mine knows, and encourages I bot up accounts to sell them. An extra source of income: nothing to complain about. Besides, it'd be hard to get away with, seeing as we live together.

 

As me and my girlfriend do full contact LARP'ing telling her that I play an online game was never an issue as someone posted above as long as you are with someone you truly care for then it shouldnt bother them and you shouldnt be ashamed of it

 

you sir, are rude. so what if some people made up how they have a girlfriend, i bet you did too. oh and, it goes to show how your insecure about your little game time. don't try make yourself cool by saying you 'used' to play runescape, it only shows how hard your actually trying, alongside the fact that your on the runescape general forums, and not on some tool.com site.

oh and, i don't think anyone would lie about having a gf/ex on an online forum about games, seriously. don't try hide behind nerds when you yourself are on a gaming site. :noworry:

 

Mine knows i play every now and again, she prefers this one to L4D2 as it's a lot quieter

But really it's not important what you do in your spare time, she might like some shit you can't stand, but it doesn't make you judge her. End of the day it's a game like any other.

From my own experience yes, my ex girlfriend didn't care that i was playing aslong as it didn't stop me from meeting her, can't say it didn't ^_^

 

My gf knew i played RuneScape, before we started dating 2 years ago, she also knew i played while we dated, and she knows i still play,even after we've moved in together ^^,
I don't play when she's home tho, but i got my bot client running 24/7, and she's fine with that

I don't have a girlfriend, but if I did, I probably wouldn't tell her. Not that it would make a difference anyway. I doubt I'd date someone so close minded.

 

I bot accounts and sell on here occasionally.

I explained to her that I bot and sell accounts for extra cash on the side when I'm not working part-time. She doesn't really care.

 

My gf just said Oh i used to play it. She thinks its cute. lol.

 

Shes knows and she calls it runscape.. freakin idiot. We cant hangout much on the weekday so she doesnt really care that I play it, it keeps me out of her hair ahah.

At first I didn't tell her. Not cuz i was scared or anything, it just never came up in conversation. She knows I play it and has sat around me multiple times while I play. She has an account, but doesn't really understand the game, so yea.

 

My girl has seen me play it some, she didn't quite really care one way or another ....

 

I told my girlfriend after a while but I don't tell my friends unless they ask.
