Making a Strong-er Password is quite easy, and will save you much less hassle in the future. - As I found out to my cost.
Adding symbols will 99% of the time stop you being on a dictionary attack list/Bruteforce as it's only combinations of numbers/ letters - Here are some other
attacks doing this may avoid. - eg.MD5 Hash,Bruteforcing,Wordlist
Most websites will tell you to have a password with a certain amount of letter, or the use of numbers. You should go one step ahead and use symbols to keep yourself secure.
eg.
Weak:hello
Medium:hello1
Strong:hello632
Strong-er:hello632**
As you can see I added asteriks which would make it exetremly hard for a MD5 Bot to Crack or even a bruteforcer.
The thing adding ** is that you can keep your old password and just add **
