Good News/Bad News

Do you prefer to have good news told to you first, or the bad?

Why/What is your reasoning?

 

Good news first because the bad news will linger and ruin the good news.

 

It can go either way.

I prefer bad news being told first so at least that way I can immediately know how to handle it while still having something to look forward to in the good news being told.

 

Always bad first so the good can calm me down.

 

I prefer bad news first so it can be done with, like ripping off a Band-Aid. Depending on what the good news is, sometimes I don't even care about the bad news once I've heard the good.

 

Good news first, bad news last because they are a mood killer. But depends tbh, sometimes the bad news overweight the good then my vibe is killed for the rest of the day or week depending on the sice of the news

I like to hear the bad news first so that the good news will outweigh the bad news and look towards the future.
