    QLD. My school also has a policy that the nearest senior has to break it up or face suspension. Police are called EVERY TIME even for minor biffs also.

    Funny, our school don't got a lot of fights, but more serious threats.

    06-07
    A sophomore was stabbed to death (his buddy a junior, punctured in the back, but lived) during a supposed gang-related fight.
    Band/Orchestra teacher fired after being found out that he had sexual intercourse and a relationship with a 16 year old junior girl.

    07-08
    Senior dies after racing.
    One 17 year old guy started this rumor that he's going to bring guns to school rallies, and during rally day, half the students of the school didn't show up.
    About 3 months down the line, a bomb threat came from an anonymous phone call to our school's operators.

    08-09
    A black guy, supposedly high, got into the girls restroom and started doin' pot in the stalls. Got arrested, charged as a sex offender.
    A freshman got mugged by 6 adult males (not identified yet) on a drive-by while walking home alone.

    09-10
    This year so far it's mediocre. One junior died while a sophomore got a stroke (yes, it's odd).

    according to the kid that attacked the other guy, the other guy had been picking on him and harrassing him, bout 3 years back i was gettin picked on and shit, i busted sum redneck cowboy wanna be up, i didnt evn get suspended, HE got expelled and no one fucked with me til i ended up just droppin out.
