    I'd think you're not putting the code in the proper place. :p Don't really know what "carbonmade" is, but it shouldn't have a restriction for you to add (or change) that.

    Edit: they only seem to work after you click shop now, you might want to check into that >_<

    Well, considering I'm reading your page source and you don't have links behind the text on the home page?

    I've asked 3 people and tried 4 different browsers, links do not appear behind your text until I click "shop now" and then from there on as long as I don't go back to the main home page your navigation bar works.
