Free Graphics Subsection

The post count should be for OP's though IMO, think of the quality going into the *FREE* signature should it not at least deserve a post count?

 

And this my friend is the exact point that is being debated. Is there actually QUALITY and EFFORT going into the graphics or is it just created in 5 seconds just to spam and raise post count?

 

If OP got post count that would mean that people requesting random stuff would get post count which would be bad.

Also the quality of graphics could be pretty terrible, which is why you aren't allowed to vouch for graphics anymore as people were making low quality pieces in a matter of seconds for vouches.

Don't bring postcount into this
Rules regarding postcount (and vouches but that's separate) should be applied equally to all markets. If someone is able to sell a shitty script or use the RS free guides section and get postcount for the thread, so should any market section, including any and all graphics. Beyond that, giving postcount for fewer sections doesn't contribute anything since it gives an unequal advantage to people who are more apt to use certain forums. Effectively it makes no sense at all and really isn't the fucking point. If you justify removing postcount for a market section, how can you justify keeping it for off-topic or RS2 General or Other games? They can also be used to inflate postcount for trust purposes in a much faster and more efficient way than free graphics.

 

Although this is old, going to bring this up in Staff Lounge. I don't see there being any harm in a free graphics subsection.

It will be without postcount so there isn't any spam, I'm just worried it'll become a dead section.

I support this, however if people are offering free graphics in a completely different subsection then obviously people would rather go there, thus taking away your own business, jiwi? As long as you are happy with doing so, I don't see a problem with this change.

 

It wouldn't be taking any business away from him. People whom are offering a free graphics service, are obviously within the period of learning their ways around photoshop/illustrator.. You're not going to go there to ask for a professional thread layout with 3D graphics and animations.

I agree and support the suggest 100%, there are no negative factors about this suggestion, whatsoever. It would be great for people who are looking at learning graphics, and great for people who cannot afford what some market users have to offer. Great suggestion, jiwi, can't wait to see this be implemented.

No Postcount in the section at all, and I'll support.
I mean, I don't see why people would care to boost there PC too much, but people will.

 

Support, people would give designs to newer gfxers so they can practise, it'd be beneficial for them.

 

More and more free shops are opening up in the graphics section and are cluttering up the shops that actually sell gfx. Making a separate section for free graphics will make it much easier distinguish between the two. Most forums have two seperate sections one for free gfx and one for people the require payment for their services. If there is no post count put in the section I support.

 

This has my vote. I support this.

 

Postcount in this section is a must. There is absolutely no justification for removing it.

I support a subsection for this.
It would help newer members spruce up their profiles a bit whilst getting involved in their first risk free trades.
Meanwhile it would allow those making the graphics a chance to hone their skills before setting up shop.
