Addition to Graphics Marketplace

Free graphics doesn't need its own section. Have no main forum and a sub for both requests and shops. People shouldn't be able to request free graphics, only offer it. That's why we have the rule. Graphics take talent and time which is costly.

 

If people want to make the free graphics for practise or rep then people should be free to request it - why pay if you could get something for free

 

Free graphics should stay. It's always going to be used at some point.

Support but I don't know too many designers who will make many things for free lol, but I guess if you request it and they're bored they'd do it :b

 

It's for new graphic designers to the site to proove who they are and what they can do basically.

 

I support, this would make the forum a lot more organized rather than having everything be in one subsection of a forum.

 

I agree with this. That way GFX artists can simply respond to that thread and once done a mod could close it/archive it. Main section for shops.

That way Mods AND Users dont have to scroll through all the different threads to find what they want.

I like the idea of having a request section, It will help clean up the random threads of the graphics area and pinpoint the customers to a specific area should they want to ask for something personalized.

 

No, the free graphics section is fine as is imo. Maybe tags like Nero suggested at most.

 

As with many rules on this forum, people won't comply, even if it's enforced. Nothing will happen to the free graphics sub section if that's what you're implying.

Us graphic designers who require payments don't really want to be be mislead by titles then when adding the user he wanted it free, etc.

Grabbed a few snippets from your argument against rsps account/gold sale forum. The logic in saying that it makes life easier for the shop owners and the requests, is the same that makes life easier for those who are interested in buying an account in a new server and those who are interested in purchasing gold for a server they play.
(Not an attack on you, just find it strange)

OT: same reasoning behind my support of rsps change, it's a nice quality of life change and no negatives behind it - support

There are two groups that benefit from the addition. The person who is requesting and the shops that comply.

There is no second group for account selling. No one will or has requested accounts from specific servers.

In the thread in staff lounge I'm gonna have it a vote for either the change suggested above, or some alternate form and if anymore ideas are presented I'll post them here. Personally I think tags are a better idea and the section isn't ridiculously active so managing tags wouldn't be horrible.
