granted that'd be helpful but I can nearly guarantee that they have accounts already either lurking or actually adding sythers are trying to get them to reveal their in-game name.

So? By registering it's basically the same, they can just lurk, and look and threads and ban accounts and no one can stop them.

 

tbh, most accounts that get banned are due to seller stupidity.

I'm not trying to offend anyone, but if for eg you're trying to sell a donor account, you don't need to most all your personal statistics that can trace the acc...

 

I think this will help users within the RSPS market find what they are looking for a bit easier without having to look back a few pages, or worry about people flooding the market 10 minutes after creating a thread, so I'll support.

Visiting there everyday I have begun to learn most frequent users there. And once I find staff then I can ban them for evasion much easier. Anything to hinder rsps staff is a + in my book

 

Didnt add a poll just gonna shoot the idea around and talk about it. If accepted the change will happen friday night.

I think guests should also be blocked from RSPS section, due to RSPS staff browsing again.

 

What if they are on invisible mode? This hinders site traffic, and is very easy to get around. When old methods die, new ones appear. Those are just my thoughts.

$5 for invisible mode. It's not unlikely for rsps users to have sythe accounts from years ago. Also, $5 is nothing. Seems like an easy trade off.

 

I think this is a great idea.

However, most of them will just register and continue. It will deter some though, and judging by all the reports pertaining to this section id say any sort of improvement would be a marked one.

 

Yeah the RSPS forum is a cesspool for vaders and scammers who think they can just come back over and over. I recently took a big interest in rsps and am aiming to help users slow down the scams there. Some things being done there include...

1. Recruiting more OMM's to help with trades
2. IP Checking as many users as we can
3. Educating forum users (mostly newer guys) about the ip lookup tool

The RSPS Market is a popular one, and we have to show the userbase we are committed long term to keeping it clean as best we can. This is the most effective way that I personally can keep some users around the site. Its nice to see some users get above 50 posts and later on 100+ etc. I figure if we can prevent some scams we can keep some newer people who are egit around longer.

I plan to make the section grow. I am pitching my tent and staking it down in that forum and I am not going anywhere. Also this division will help quite a bit.

 

Not sure how adding more OMM's would fix the problem. Middle men don't search for trades, the trades come to them. Not only that, but don't most OMM put fees for their service? I don't see why using an OMM for a rsps trade would be ideal for both parties. That's just my opinion.

 

I support, it'll be much more organised and other markets already have it, I don't see why not.
