science didn't just come up with a theory and say "HEY, this is the truth!" (like religion...) they came up with a theory, and spent lots of time proving it.

you CAN'T prove religion, you CAN prove science.

Classical you can not win this argument. even if u were slightly right i recon a good 80 percent of people on here believe science over religion... with good reason

Science came up with everything that says on the list expect god, because they say there's no god!
Its just particles and atoms, so they are basically gods.
They came up with their own theory on how the universe came to be......
They NEVER say its a theory, they say its a fact.

not all scientists are atheists, and science didn't decide what religion was, religious people did..
and nobody said particles and atoms were gods.
and not all scientists believe the big bang theory, and some are trying to disprove it.. and even the people/person who came up with the big bang theory don't know for sure, that's why they call it a theory.

Science is entirely composed of theories proven to be true. Of course, there are theories that have yet to be proven true or false, but for the most part, Science is all facts.

 

And I'M NOT TRYING TO GET HIGH POST COUNT....

 

25packbeer maybe u should go listen in on a grade above year 6 and u will see that science can prove ALOT. but yes science also has theorys it also has some things called LAWS which explain why u can sit here now and type, why if u run into a brick wall u fall

Science is as close to fact as we can humanly get, relegion is mostly scraps of text, apparantly written thousands of years ago, about a talking snake who tells people to eat apples, 650 year old sailors who saved the world's wildlife on a collossal wooden boat that he and his sons built, and bushes who speak to people when they're on fire.
