Some info you need to know-
*Don't rush the drying process, it takes 24 hours for the foam to dry
*It takes 12 hours for the Spackle to cure, then Spackle, Don't rush it!
*If the hole is over 5x5 stuff it with newspaper and then use the foam.
*Make sure you have everything you need before you start!
Getting started! (medium holes)
*The first step to fixing that hole in your wall is to measure the hole to the nearest inch.
*The hole above me is 3x5 so a relatively easy fix.
*If its more than 5x5 stuff it with newspaper before you continue!
*After you have measured your hole gather all your materials and put them on a towel on the floor.
*After you have done the above grab your foaming crack sealant and spray it in your hole so it fills up half of your hole. (only half! it expands 2x its applied amount.)
*Let the foam cure and harden for 24 hours and return to your hole the next day
*Once you see that the foam is dry then go ahead with this next step.
*Grab your Spackle and fill in the rest of the hole and try and make it as smooth as possible!
*Let the Spackle dry and come back to it in 12 hours.
*Once the Spackle is dry you must sand it down so it is completely smooth and has no air bubbles or cracks.
Then after your hole is completely patched and sanded down get a quart of paint or more depending on your hole and paint over it and you shouldn't even notice it.
Getting started! (small hole)
*This is much easier to fix
* For this you will need your foam, adhesive patch, Spackle, Putty knife and sander.
*If the hole looks like this
*Then you'll need your foam, (there is no drywall to Spackle on so you have to fill in the wall so there is a backing)
*After you have all you materials then simply fill the hole wall with foam until you can see it coming out of the hole. (overflowing)
*Let it dry an when you come back and see the excess simply take a knife and cut it off
*Then sand, put the patch on and heat it with a blow dryer.
*Then all you do is spackle it sand it and paint
*If the wall looks like this
*Now if you have a hole like this then its very very simple!!!!!!
*Take your Spackle and fill in the hole, then smooth it and let it dry
*Then Sand it blow off the excess dust and paint over it
