What do you think about the fat acceptance movement and why?
Edit:
If you don't know, the fat acceptance movement is supposed to be a call to love your body no matter what, and to be confident in yourself despite your size.
However, the main issue most people (including myself) have, is that beauty should keep its standards. In my eyes, anything that damages your body (obesity, diabetes, heart problems) is not beautiful in any sense. Yes, you should be confident in yourself, but problems aren't solved by embracing them.
Thoughts?
