That's why a 1987 trans am top speed is 130 mph, and 170 mph with the stock. What you're claiming is that you went 190. Stop lying kid, we all know you aren't old enough to drive.

 

I'm not 100% up to par with how cars work. The speedometer hit 120, bounced to 110, hit 120, bounced again and hit 120 again. Buddy of mine says that means I was going 140. Not sure if thats true or if I was just going 120 the full time.

Pretty much destroyed the car. The next day it didn't even wanna start. Cost about $2000 to repair the motor. It jerked all the time, and would stutter and fight just going up small hills after I had my speeding fun. Mom still has the same car today, now that the motors been repaired and everything, it works a lot better, but it still just ain't the same cruiser it was before I fucked it up. lol

 

There's part of the interstate I drive on after work, and it's all downhill when I leave. Usually I get off 11pm or so, and no one is on it.. literally! So I hit the gas in my 2003 Nissan Frontier 4 cylinder pickup and got that small beauty to hit 146 according to my gps and my radar scanner.. Honestly though, I look back and think why did I do that.. my tires at the time were speed rated for 100 mph, and they could've blown any second which would've been suicide for me.. oh well.. teenage years are the best years..

I'd guess 130ish mph the speedo was maxed for a while n we were still gaining speed [in a jeep] but for sure 118mph on my snowmobile.

Was when I was on my way back from CA a couple weeks ago. Driving on the I-5 at night, road is completely straight, completely flat, and COMPLETELY empty. It could easily double as a drag strip.

Ive done 100mph just to say ive been over 100mph in my car. I did it on a rainy day in the early morning on my way to work

I don't drive yet. But I was on a motor bike with a friend who rode at 140.damn.

 

I hope this track was a straight away, otherwise you would probably crash along a corner, but props to you for going to a track to do some speed tests. +1
