Ew.. not another stupid pod cast.

So I've tried my fair share of video editing, music production blah blah. A friend and I came up with a miraculous idea (seriously..) to start a stupid pod cast. I know what you're thinking, Starting a podcast in this generation is like saying "hey let's start a band" of 2010. So naïvely, I presumed we had a lot to say and tried it out. In my ignorant foolishness it didn't go quite as planned. I've spent several hours thinking of topics before stumbling into sudden reality that we aren't as entertaining as WE think we are. Does this community perhaps do something like this? Possibly even listen to or watch podcasts. What do you look for, what do you find interesting? Is it a voice, is it a topic?​

I'm asking because I'm seeking suggestions. My pal and I want to deliver something, however we're not quite at a position where popularity or an audience is necessarily reachable. I'm not just meme'ing you, I'm desperate.

You shouldn't be embarrassed before even starting it. It's not a bad idea, I like podcasts. Tons of us desk workers love to just listen to podcasts and work on our stuff. It looks like you're interested in music, maybe talk about that? Or just chat and tell stories. Whatever you're interested in

I listen to live streams all day at work. Destiny, Warski, Metokur, Killstream, and others where it's a podcast setting. Usually it's all just arguing and debating but lots of people like to just listen to audio of interesting people talk

I know alot of people I have met in my life enjoy listening to podcasts, you just have to keep it up and hit those viewers.
For the cable management, it'd be very easy to clean that up.

 

The real money is in Chinese podcasts. I'm currently working on one with @BumBum to take hold of the market in the 6 hour commute in Beijing The gruelling, six-hour commute of Beijing’s workers.
