Encouraging Others

I'm not saying you should cover your problems by smoking weed but im saying it will help you calm down feel chill and then after your not high anymore think things out more clearly

 

I have no problem with this or people suggesting others to take drugs to help them "relax or chill out". I highly doubt that if someone has a beer bottle or shot glass in a rank image or anywhere on their profile would be enough to encourage a child to start drinking. And, quite honestly if it did, I would be VERY surprised. I have seen hundreds of people with drug related or alcohol related avatars, signatures, posts, and even emails. We are part of a website and I don't think we should try to regulate what people do outside of here. You never know where the person is coming from, in my state, it is legal to use marijuana for medicinal use. Plus everyone can react differently to drugs. What it comes down to for me, is that people here are smart enough to be able to make their own decisions and I don't think petty comments or images are going to have much influence to them.

I'm not trying to say that completely. To clarify, people can give some really good advice on the Personal Support forums, or in general on Sythe. I have learned some good lessons here. But in some instances, like drug use, I don't think that people aren't going to be compelled to take drugs after seeing a picture or a short little comment. It is a decision that people should make for their selves and everyone has the right to their own opinion, I see no problem with people condoning or suggesting it to others. I don't think we should be censoring people's opinion on the topic.

 

Meh I wouldn't agree with your second point. I don't think we should tell people who are looking for advice to go straight to drugs but having a rank that has beer bottles isn't going to change anything.

 

I'm pretty much going to sum this up, easiest way possible to end it.

I respect all of your beliefs and opinions, but do not take our beliefs and opinions away from us by making it against the rules to suggest them.

Marijuana is not bad for you, Clinical Studies have proven that Point. In Moderation that is.

I myself Toke up a bit, And im not addicted or any of that Stuff.

Nicotine is probaly the worst drug known to man..

Also for the idiots saying I'm hating on stoners, I'm not; I used to be a stoner myself. But as Sanct said marijuana never solves the problem, it just covers it up for a short while.

Edit: I'd just like to point out that most of you posting in this thread have never even been in Personal Support before, try visiting it and helping people oh there, you will get to see why drugs shouldn't be used to cover up peoples problems.

Because this is just a website and I doubt that the staff with authority would pass a rule that would regulate what people do outside of Sythe.

 

The Personal Support forum is A LOT different to the other parts of the forum, what you say in there can change peoples lives. People post in that section of the forums because they genuinely need help and they are going to take most advice into consideration.
People in a bad time of their life think differently than they would would normally so the act of taking drugs may seem very little to them at the time, as they think things couldn't get any worse.

Even If they do post in that section of the forums, I believe the members of this community are smart enough and should be ale to be free to make their own decisions ; whether if someone is saying to snort a whole oz of coke or take a drag of a blunt, they should be smart enough to make their own decisions at their own risk.

 

Yes but people think differently when they're in bad situations. If they were so smart they wouldn't need to ask for advice as they would know what to do.

I said that to point out that intelligence has nothing to do with the decisions you make.

 

They may be asking for advice, but they're not forced to follow it,
It's a simple suggestion, they either consider it, or they ignore it and seek advice elsewhere,
It goes one way or the other.

 

Take some time in Personal Support and you will see how your advice effects people.

It has nothing to with intelligence Shoop, though I do understand your point. Every human being alive has needed support at one time or another. We weren't made to deal with everything alone, and having an outside opinion can help clarify the problem and present a solution.

Still, nothing involving intelligence comes even close to having an impact in my opinion.

 

I assumed it was already against the rules, full support.

 

I'm not insulting anyone, I was simply pointing out that intelligence has nothing to do with the decisions people make. <3&#9787; thinks that if people were intelligent they would make the right choice. That is not the case.

Don't do school, stay on drugs kids. I am 100% sure any of those whom suggest recreational drug use to solve a problem are not medical doctors. I do not support illegal drug use to fix a problem (it is against the law) but I also think the users who suggest it should not be infracted or have their posts deleted. The original poster should be smart enough to weed out the bad from the good advice.
