$7,000 Bitcoin @ $650/coin is around 10.7 btc.

If bitcoin dropped approx. $100-$150, then around $1070-$1500 was lost, considering I heard there was close to $7k and now bogla has $5.4k worth, I'm assuming $1500 was lost.

I'm just speculating here.

 

It should have been sold as they got it. I donated some of mine when it was at 700 if I remember correctly. I was under the impression that $200 = $200. I can't believe they didn't actually think any of this through.

 

Yeh I understand your frustration for sure if I was the person who messed up I would donate the difference out of my pocket but we shall see what happens.

Seriously regardless of what happens @Sythe can you have everyone send to you all the BTC right now. Bogla already said he can send BTC for the gold. Have him send that to get that end fixed, and then you can contact CDT and get the rest of the BTC. The absolute minimum, with 1911 tickets and assuming everyone got them at the discount rate of $4 instead of $5, should be $7644.

It should be anywhere between $7644 and $9555 USD value of BTC when it is sent to you.

 

I appreciate everyone's input. But it's being handled and the money will get to JoN'S parents. Yes holding the 5k btc was a mistake but there was nothing we could do about it at the time. Once the btc was transfered we tried to make some of the margin back by @Bogla buying out gold at a great price for Jon. We are trying our best to get in touch with Jon's parents and figuring out what the best payment method is to give them. Then reason why this is taking so long is because do we wanna Go through Go Fund me and be able to prove that we sent the donation but it will have a 7% fee which is close to 600 taken away. Or give it to their parents directly and have minimal proof that we actually donated it and will have you guys in disbelief.

See Bogla's post, he said he has the gold and he'll pay out $5.44k BTC for it. If it's literally all in 07, then that means we're missing more than we thought. Even the BTC crashing shouldn't account for it?


I hope you take action against the people involved if we went from 7.6K-9.5K to $5.4K

Not on you son. The BTC should have been sold as soon as it was received. There was 1-2 days to do so.

 

The gold was given to me over the last few days, and they asked me to hold onto the money while they figured out how to donate it - I was just under the impression the gold was donated rather than me being used to cut losses from BTC. If anything happened to the gold, I'd still pay out the 5440.65, and most of it has been liquidated anyways.

 

Can someone involved in this post the exact transaction amounts, prices for BTC, prices for RS gold so we can see how much was lost in every conversion?

If they bought gold at 1.05 and sold it to Bogla at 1.15, it should definitely be more than 5.44K, even accounting for the BTC crash.

Assuming the minimum grave posted is correct, It should be anywhere between $7644 and $9555 USD value of BTC when it is sent to you.

Let's say, $8,000, when the raffle ENDED that is approx. 8000/655=12.2 bitcoin

When the drop occurred, 12.2x100=$1,220 was lost.

Since then bitcoin is now $590 again, but since they transferred it out of bitcoin, the money took the worst possible route it could of by being put back into 07.

I'm not sure what rate they bought 07 for though, but if my maths right, There is AT LEAST $1,220 exactly lost, If they bought 07 at a bad price its going to be far far more.


Thought I should post some actual facts vs speculation.

 

I hope whoever was involved in this takes pride in metaphorically shitting all over jon
