Do you think Runescape will ever shutdown?

Just curious on what bot you use?

 

I personally can never see Runescape ending or being shut down, there are new players joining every day and new decent updates like the combat update.

 

I'd give the day a good 10years allthough the updates are shit,but it survived 10years now,it will survive another 10years believe me

 

I give runescape another year or so. Jagex have already caved into microtransactions.

 

Im pretty sure theyll be around for a long while. Personally id say 10+ years, especially if they advnce more with the times.

 

if anything microtransactions will keep them around longer. microtransactions is money, more money means they stay around longer. everyone bitches and riots makes videos cus they want it to change, then jagex does the same thing every time, doesn't change. and guess what, like .001 people quit after these updates and riots. there are still tons of people playing, it's not going away anytime soon. i would bet money it stays open more than 10 years, like grim said.

 

Runescape as we know it will die out. As soon as they don't make enough to keep the servers running its over. I don't believe runescape will really end in 5 years. I give it 10ish. Once runescape (2) becomes unmanageable I'm sure it'll just be like classic where they roll out an overhauled game thats the same idea but very different

When I am 50 it will shutdown.

 

It'll definately go for another 5 years or more but RuneScape is a MMORPG, JaGeX has to keep the game updated and attract new players.
I feel like once it will get outdated and not be attractive enough for new people to try and explore it.

So yes, once RS will be shutdown.
