Do you Fear Death?

Been there done that, died 3 times from asthma attacks, etc... so Nah, death don't bother me.

 

because we are all human and different. You also have to consider that people go through different walks of life and different situations.

 

anyone who dosent fear the dead isnt a human.

 

I find it kinda stupid to fear something that is inevitable but it is in human nature and all animals to fear death, the fear of the unknown.

YES, I do fear death, but I do not let it control my life.

why? not everyone is looking over there shoulder watching out for death. people have lives to live.

 

im not scared of anything to do with death because death is a part of life nobody is not going to experience it.

I fear death because you never know what will happen afterwards.

 

Well yea kinda because im still young and yea...could come at any time but it could be painful or it could be peacefull never know bt still i fear it yes.

 

Honestly, no.

I've 'died' so many times, it's not even funny. All of those times made me not do anything that I'll someday regret. So if today I were to die, not a biggie.

 

Basically everyone has to die, as someone posted earlier. I do not fear death but I fear dying, if you get what im saying. Basically I fear being killed, run over, overdosing etc but at the same time i'm curious what happens after you die. I would say yes I fear death as everything you ever knew and loved suddenly vanished.

 

I believe in after life so I shouldn't be too scared, but I am because I still want to live a full life like most people are able to live and do stuff in the world, instead of dying at the age of 15. Now, if I was in my 80's or a really old guy then I might not fear it too much, but I don't know if I will fear it at that age or not yet.

 

I think a lot of you don't understand the question. Its not asking "do you fear death in every waking second when death is a very low probability"

For the people who say they don't fear death, Id like to see how you would react to be forced to run across a mine field or be shot. Would you not take every step in complete fear of the high chance of it being your last? If not, your already dead. No one just accepts death, no one looks in the face of death with no fear, only people that are not mentally stable ie, suicidal.

There's a difference between death and suffering young one. One who dies does not necessarily suffer, and one who suffers will not necessarily die.

Everyone has fear, the fear of being blown to bits, or shot is a different fear than dying, it is the fear of pain in itself.


Death is nothing to fear, and stop saying that it's scary cause it's not. You will die. The point of life is death, get used to it. Accept death, and accept that it will happen sooner or later, and live your life like you wanna live it.

Don't bring religion in to this. It will cause conflict, and is not the point of this topic. But personally I will say that you can't claim this without evidence.

Fear of the innevitable is a weakness, in my oppinion. If something's going to happen no matter what, why fear it? Also, I will point out there is a difference between wanting to live and fearing death.

 

i fear death coz if hell exists and ill go to hell i fear of the eternity pain coz it should be really paifull and ill feel it forever. so yes i fear of death ONLY because of hell...

There is no reason in fearing something that can take you at any point in your life, its your "Fate". I take alot of risks in life but dont want to die young.
