Inference and common sense would tell you that he fears leaving the earth in the sense that he would not ever (assuming there is no afterlife) see his loved ones again. Being technical isn't necessary all the time.

no not really.. everyone dies evenutally... the only thing that concerns me is how i die..

 

Im not afraid of dying. The fact is, is that were all going to die, and I believe that if you worry about it while your alive, your life will just suck. You need to live your life to the fullest, and not worry about things you cant control. Thats my look on life =]

 

I more fear what will cause my death.
Death itself is a normal biological process, but can be painful, or painless.

 

Noone knows whether it be painful or painless, so why trouble yourself over an unanswerable question?

There are those who die, and then are brought back to life within a medical ward, but since they don't seem to be screaming in pain when they wake, we have nothing but to assume that death is painless.

Besides, once your main organs and whatnot shut down, heart and brain, then the rest of your senses can't work, and you simply WON'T feel pain, whether you be dead or not.

 

i dont fear death,because i dont believe in heaven / hell all of that kind of stuff- i dont know where i'll go, and i dont care, ill just wait and see where nature takes me. (although i believe that when you die you simply cease to exist)
but i kind of fear the process of dying itself- i wanna die during my sleep when im old....this is the best way to go

i dont want to die in a violent car accident or something, with the doctors telling me they'll have to cut off both of my legs, and then there's a complication in the surgery and i die.

Why fear what happens to everyone? I can't be bothered wasting my time fearing death lol. I doubt you'll care when your dead anyway .

The thread topic isn't asking if you are worried about dieing at every waking moment. I think the topic is pretty stupid since we all fear death. If we did not fear death, chances are we would not be here right now. Fear of death is...

Fearing death is a natural instinct. No matter who you are, if you are living as of the moment and you are reading this, you too fear death. You may not dwell on it but you fear it regardless.

 

Because you are observant of your surroundings, doesn't mean death is something to fear.

I may not want to get hit by a vehicle because it may not kill me, and I don't want to feel the pain.

Simply .. I'd LIKE to live, however, if I died, it's not like it'd cure cancer. I'm not frightened by the concept of not living on this earth, however, if I have to, I will.

It's like being at a job that you don't like.
I don't really have to like the job, and if I got fired, it wouldn't matter, but I do it anyway.

Fearing death is NOT a good way to live life (no pun intended) Think about it? If you go through life fearing death you'll miss out on life.

Death is for eternity, life is short. I think I'm more concerned with the long-term results.
