Do I have a right to be mad?

1. This may be a blessing in disguise. A father who's prepared to let a kid with no real work experience run a multi-million dollar company is fucking insane. Also, is it a private or public company? Like is it traded on any stock exchanges?

Anyway, I don't know if you asked him if you could go but I would ask him after he comes back (in person) why he didn't take you and say you'd be really interested in doing something like that if another opportunity ever came up. (do it casually, no need to cause stress)

But tbh, I've sort of been in the same place as the kid and, when you have a lot of good guys as good friends, you have to make hard decisions that will piss people off. I'm sorry he didn't take you; you do have a right to be mad.

 

sound's like he is jelous of you being a better buisnessman than him and he want's to surpass you. But he is being a bit mean he is getting his job handed to him on a plate as it's really hard to get a decent job these day's

 

All i can say is Wow. I would've been extremely pissed off. Although maybe because his not your closest friend he wanted to take the other guy instead. Or possibly he doesn't understand your passion for business.
