This could be true, machines often say a certain weight but weight and feel much lighter

This is what I suspect. Most machines will have an engravement/sticker that says weight is 50% lighter then indicated.

ya i think thats bullshit, i mean that makes no sense just put the right weight amount. lol

There are many variations of deadlifts. I am talking about these kind. I am assuming you are talking about these kind. If you are talking about the kind in the first video, then I'm gonna call you out and say you're a fraud, because no one who weighs 132lbs can deadlift 400lbs correctly.

If you're using a machine and the weight says you're doing 405lbs, chances are you're actually doing 205lbs.

Im actually talking about conventional deadlifting the one you posted in the first link not off the pins. Sorry to burst your bubble but i did lift 180kg @ 60kg raw, feel free to pm me for a link to youtube. Hatters gonna hate

I'm not a hater. I'm also not a liar. Post the video.

Alright guys, i love the conversations about workouts or what not but lets not turn this into a spam fest, remember this is for members who need help with their diet or workout. thanks

We've taken the discussion to PM's.

Thank you. I've been getting a lot of PM's asking for help, if you guys enjoy the help or find it helpful or even have feedback please post it on here for myself and others to get an idea of how i am doing!

Nice built up dude! But do tell me are the supplements so necessary to get you in shape, or just the workout will do. ;)

I'm not fat, but I do work out regularly.
I want my abs to be visible even when they're not under some special lighting.

What exercises can I do at home (including running and jump rope outdoors) that will help me achieve my goal?

And what should I eat?
Please recommend me common food that I can just get at a local cvs or a supermarket :o

jumproping for cardio is always good and running do both regularly, for abs you can do crunches, oblique workouts, some examples are leg raises for lower abs, something similar to leg raises called suit cases. I know teh moves but some names are unclear so you would have to look up ab workouts.

as for eating, cut the carbs is #1 and no bread. raw nuts, apples, celery [VERY good], spinach is very good too...any greens, salads and stuff like that is low in carbs and very good for you, also for stuff like breakfast instead of a bagel or something try getting a cereal called "Go Lean" by Kashi...its about 30g of carbs in 1 cup which is ehh kinda ok but the thing is its good carbs and everything else in the cereal is healthy for you. you can get that form trader joes, but eat 1cup of cereal with 1 cup of milk in teh morning u dont really wanna exceed that, and trust me u get used to it. so pretty much cut carbs, and stay away from red meat like steak or something and have more of grilled chicken or fish/raw fish. Any more questions about food or anything feel free to PM me!

Nice one. I was getting a bit fat too(stomach), started to go to gym, will work with my body more.

Have a lot of plans what to do. Probably will make some diary also, with some pictures or so and will public at the moment when I will see a difference which I will like.

Good luck, nice job, but do not stop, keep going.

Cutting on carbs? But I'm a Korean! :D
Rice is our main food.

But yeah, never really finished an entire bowl before.
And I always eat cereal in the morning

raw nuts, meh
apples, hmm
celery?

aww yeah, sounds good.

How's canned tuna though? Never really minded eating a single can for dinner.

Update:

Hey guys,
Just a quick update. Havent been training much lately since i have no car or time cuz of college and its really affected me badly. Went from 172lbs to 180 lbs and my stomach has increased much much more! i havent checked bf % but im pretty sure its not good. Hopefully gna get a car this weekend so I will definately start training everyday from now on if i can.

My coach has a fight on Oct 22nd. so my new goal is to drop down to 170lbs by then.

Wish me luck guys!

Dropping 10lbs in a month is reasonable, especially since you've already been close to that weight. You can do it DG4L. :) I expect an update in 2 weeks saying you're at 175lbs!

haha thanks, and ya 10lbs is nothing...i dropped 10lbs in a week when i was cutting for a competition. Anyway, I believe I am 175lbs now but its just that i weighed myself mid day after a meal haha and i weighed in at 179lbs...but i rounded 0.o

Hurt my wrist bad...but started training again idgaf..

Ok DG4L, it's been more then 2 weeks - how's the weight loss coming??

Update: So the weight gaining thing isn't really working out. I haven't been dedicated to taking gainer shakes everyday and thus I've only gained about 8lbs. I'm not sure where I want to go from here. On the positive side:

Goals include: Benching 225 lbs, Curling 45 lbs (dumbbells), Deadlifting 250 lbs.

Bench Press: 160->175lbs
Curling: ?->40lbs
Deadlift: 205->235lbs

I expect to hit my curling/deadlift goal by the end of the month. Bench press on the other hand may take an additional month or 2; 225lbs is a lot. X| Do you guys want me to post a before/current picture so you can see how sexy I am? :P
