haha for sure bro, i respect you too for being so involved! And ya the past 4 days ive been eating 100-150g of carbs, which is ok since ive been on injury break but next week ima start working out again so im probably gna consume a little bit more but i dont know exactly how many grams to intake so i can still lose my stomach to get a 6 pack. and i just had a garden burger with sweet potato fries...i havent ate since 6:30am its 10:30pm here, so i just went and ate what i could, even though it kills me that i ate a lot of carbs.

    Two things

One, I want to start to be able to fight people. Like learning some form of unarmed combat would be nice. Is there any way to do this online for free?

Two, I am 5'8 but I weigh about 120. I can barely see my six-pack but I want it to be more obvious. How should I do this?

do you mean 120lbs? because if so you should be bulking rather then cutting. Not healthy being so skinny

For ground fighting, search Brazilian jujitsu on Youtube.com. For stand-up fighting, search boxing. There are many other styles such as kyokushin, jujitsu, muay thai, wrestling (real wrestling...), etc. Find a style that works for you and go with it. Practice moves with a friend. DG4L probably knows more about this then me and can give you a more in depth answer.

120lbs or 120kg? As Skyline pointed out, it makes a big difference.

How active are you? What does your diet look like? If you want to burn stomach fat, do some High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) in the morning before breakfast (run fast for 2min, walk for 2min; repeat for 30 minutes) 2-3 times a week. Diet is key. You should also start working out regularly.

    what?

Ok, look up on youtube muay thai/kickboxing techniques...if you want to learn self defense type in "Bas Rutten Self Defense" hes a legendary MMA fighter and he has a few youtube videos about self defense.

I will explain what you should do about your 6 pack under this next quote.

Ok, lets say your 120lbs thats very skinny...instead of doing interval training which would make u skinnier, I would say first workout a your upper body, ie. Chest, Bicep, Tricep, Shoulders. Get those bulk and make sure to do AB WORKOUTS 3 times a week maybe 4 if you want to get that extra day in. and look up all types of ab workouts not just crunches cuz you gotta do obliques and shit too. Dont forget to workout legs btw. And yes diet is key, your skinny so you dont need to lose weight, instead after a workout try to get some protien in [naturally recommended or protein shake] and eat some carbs. HEALTHY CARBS not bad carbs, and by healthy i mean brown rice, natural pasta, grilled chicken, etc...

Simple, your answer was good no doubt, but i think he needs to worry more about building his abs rather than doing interval which would in the end make him sweat/burn more and lose weight which isnt good at his weight limit.

I am 120 Lb. Probably closer to 130 about now. I'm about a 19.5-20 BMI.

Anyways - I am very active usually. I'm not trying to lose weight, I just want to know like how often I should do sit ups or what I should do to make it like more defined.

I don't have amazing upper body strength, (I can only bench about 110 lb), but I can do pushups effortlessly, and I can run/bike for a long time.

THis is my first post on this thread, but I figured id throw a little input in as Im pretty fit, I workout 2-3 hours a day mixed between cardio and strength training.

First, not everyones body is made to have abs, and in my opinion, who cares about abs if you look like a wimp with a shirt on.
Second, if you want to get abs, (what works for me and gets me cut up) is I work my abs every other day, ill do random things that work abs for about 10 minutes straight. But make sure you do plenty of things to hit both upper and lower abs.
Third, Its best to try to grow your body as a whole rather than focus on one part of your body. for example if i wanted big arms, i couldnt just go and do biceps at the gym. Id need to hit triceps and shoulders to build it, but you really need to work your body on every muscle group.
Fourth is your diet. Stay away from fatty foods. I have a daily breakfast which includes 3 egg whites, a cup of rice, cottage cheese with some peaches mixed in for taste. THen I eat a bagel about a hour and a half later then continue on with my other meals.

but p.s. you should really try to get your lifts up. A good starter goal would to bench your body weight without effort (or something like that) then get to where you can rep your body weight fairly easily.

just my 2 cents. oh and sorry if this is kinda hijacking your thread i ddont mean to do that.

Your Body fat % being low is the only way youll see a 6 pack, u need that to be anywhere from 8% or less..

And I agree with you in almost everything here, working out your whole body will not only bulk you up but make your stomach look more lean and increase your chances at seeing your 6 pack, your diet is #1 thing no matter what your trying to build, and doing abs every other day is basically what i said 3-4 times a week.

And dont worry, i always enjoy reading other peoples input on things for example simple always posts his thoughts on working out and I dont mind it at all infact i enjoy reading it and learning some things i might have not known. So dont worry!

Several ways, theres some that are fairly accurate like those machines taht you hold on too, but the most accurate way is using the bathtub method and you gotta pay a professional to do that for you.

Update on my status: 10% Body fat as of today :)

The easiest way (just a guess) is to buy a pinch test thing online. You pinch certain fatty parts of your body and use a scale or something to determine your BMI. Its accurate within a percent or something like that..
