[DENIED] "Verified User"

I have seen this somewhere before on the internet, and thought it was a good concept for this site.
Basically, we could have a "verified user" rank to help promote safe trading. I know there is a home
IP thing, so I don't think this would be asking alot.

VERIFIED USER RANK:

- Submits a photo of themselves, as well as a photo of their government identification to an
administrator of the website

- After verified, the user gets a rank (could be a fun rank) stating they have verified their personal
information

Basically, what I think is that this could combat scam-quitting in the long run because 'verified' users
who obtain alot of trust might second thought about scam quitting due to the fact that they may be
intending to scam $1000's worth of gold/accounts/money. Basically, the bottom line is this is not to
give new users false trust, but to have anyone who has verified their identity with an administrator
to second-think about scam-quitting due to giving out their personal information and intention to scam
thousands worth.

There’s nothing stopping anybody pmimg admins or posting a thread with their information if they want to do that, I don’t think it should warrant its own rank

 

Exactly as Tyler said. We had it for awhile and vaders abused this saying they were sythe verified and thus safe to trade. Newcomers didn't look into what that actually meant and were getting scammed all the time.

Upsetting that newcomers can't use common sense while dealing with trades.
It's a good system just to bad people aren't able to do their research

This is on the do not suggest list, as mentioned above we've had SVU and it did not end up working out. Thanks for the suggestion.
