Discord Donator Ranks

No support. Don't really see the point in adding this. The time put into it could be used for better things.

It takes all of 15 seconds to make a new role in discord. If this would incentivize one person to donate $5, it would be worth it.

$5 per 15 seconds is pretty good imo.

 

I dont think you understand how much work the staff does on discord. Why do you think there is a big discussion about this. Their time is so tied up an working so hard to keep the forums going that they dont have time for the small 15 seconds. Also every user would have to be moved into the donator section. What if you dont want to be in the donator room should you have the option to move on it?

Creating this rank requires the following.

• Deciding the color of the rank
• Should the user be able to change their rank on discord like other ranks
• rank Privileges should other ranks be able to see into the 5$ chat or is there just a donator chat or should high donators have their own chat
• Making sure all other ranks are made so only these permisions affect these users.
• Creating a donator only chat which separates the rest of the Community.
• Writing a script to automate the donator status.
• Making sure that the script has a database that is connected to sythe to keep the donator ranks up to date
• Mods now how to give out donator ranks if they where not received in the discord

I mean i can go on all day did that take you only 15 seconds to read? setting up one rank requires more then the information i provided so yeah its a big deal changing anything on this site... @mumble
