[Denied] Require pricing within OSRS/RS3 Skill/Quest/Minigame threads

Thats silly. If someone wants it done faster they can pay more and if they want it to take longer itll be cheaper.

Why would I do 20 hours a day for 2-3 days to complete b gloves for the same price as others charge for 14 days.

Use logic. its called expediting and almost all companies offer this function for users.

In other words you're saying your order means fuck all to me so it will be 14 days... but if you want you can pay me 100m extra and ill do it in the time frame it really takes..

 

As shown some of us do, if the person isn’t giving you a price you can report their post.

Most discord servers have a bot that can price things for you.

Good because then you can go 50gpx550000xp = and you know what you've got.

You're not opening a discord, waiting on a ticket, then getting notifications from that server, then realising that these people aren't what they advertise they are and then you have to leave all those servers.

When in the thread if it's listed you go "Ok that's out of my price range, I don't like that provider" you avoid entering a server, you avoid wasting a providers time answering questions, you avoid the general stuff around of wasting time when things can just be listed.

As above, that's multiple servers joined, notifications, having to leave servers etc

Adding in prices on all threads (in addition to having to constantly edit them due to fluctuating service prices) would most likely promote a lot of undercutting in the market.

Not sure since I don't really use the market much, just my two cents.

There will always be competition via undercutting anyway, so that makes no real difference.

it's really based on the principle of who the customer decides to value themselves against.

 

All the people who just send you a link to their discord server piss me off also, I wish this wasn’t allowed.

Sorry Gator but this is the biggest load of garbage i've heard in a while, simply post a request thread, and wait for people to contact you.

Not the cheapest are the best you are better going with a legitimate service such as @Yellow_Hat_OSRS_Services yeah guess what you pay for what you get why risk going for someone with no vouches or just joined recently you risk losing your account, status or wealth.

I use yellow hat as an example here as he is someone i would trust with my account.

It is impossible to post all the different prices for all the different skills at all the different levels involved if you are looking for a slayer service with 99 strength 1 att/1 def no prayer no mage no range, and don't want any of them trained it would be impossible to give you the 'X' rate advertised.

There is just too many outcomes.

 

Post a request thread and be met with discord links or asked to PM - I think not, this is one of the issues as previously addressed - don't comment if you're not gonna read through the thread.

I didn't say the cheapest was the best, once again read the thread before replying - I addressed the issue not having listed prices causes with people asking for the cheapest (Side note: EVERY fucking service provider claims to be the cheapest, they're NOT) and then you get all the new comers etc come in and undercut and scam.

You literally risk your account no matter WHO you go with, how many mods have scam quit?, how many admin?, how many trusted users have gone out with a bang? - Letting ANYONE on your account is a risk at EVERY point of time.

I agree I'd trust YH with my account, but his prices are ridiculous lmao. He literally quoted me 6x the amount I paid for something to be done from another established, well trusted service.

If you're looking for slayer on an obby mauler then of course it will be different. Slayer is a skill that can be specifically priced.

Pure - 15gp/xp
Zerk - 10gp/xp
Main - 5gp/xp
Obby - 200gp/xp

That is an example. Only differences in above would be if cannon and bursting is available.

As I previously said in any business; time = money, do it right the first time and you don't have to do it again.

Answer 30 questions a day about the same thing and then not get a customer or list your prices so they only contact you have is "I'd like this service to be started please" - I know what I'd be doing.

I do sell discord bots that calc skilling and questing prices instantly then you just go into the discords type the skills and levels (or quests) you want, and you get a price.

Point is: maybe we can mainstream that so you just hop in a discord, input what you want and you get an instance price check, if you don't like it you can just compare to other discords in real time.

 

No support, gp fluctuates from minute to minute, so this more or less has an impact of the pricing.
I think it’s pretty simple to join a discord & feel out the price / members.
Doing this also can give you a better understanding of who you’re dealing with.
If it’s a discord with a lot of effort put into it & whatever, but it’s a hair more expensive, I would personally go with them since they are organized.

 

If they were organised they'd have prices listed. =]

I will say this though, to me it seems the problem you had is everyone you went to used the word "cheapest" when they weren't, Sythe is a free market and practically any word can be used to attract more customers whether it's cheap, fast, etc.

 

It's no that its everyone I went it, it's that it's EVERYONE.

 

Then who's to say your opinion of the word cheap is way different than most of the market?
