[DENIED] Community polls for rule changes

Basically a lot of suggested rules with lots of community support gets put down if someone in power uses his influence to get it denied for their personal gain. I'm suggesting something like a monthly poll for all the rule change related suggestions.
I would suggest a 67% requirement for a rule to pass.

As for it to work better we would also need to figure out the requirements for voting to avoid possible spam to affect it in your favor. (Join date, post count,donator or all of these required)

 

As much as I think you're a complete fucknugget, i'll happily vote yes.

Something does need to be done about the situations with how things are handled. We have seen a lot of manipulation and issues as of late, and to be fair it makes me a bit iffy about the forum.

 

I'll offer support as well. The "normal" users are what make up the community. So we should be able to vote on changes that are made within the forum we use.

 

polls would be meaningless i think, all of the changes would still have to be ultimately decided upon by staff in a similar fashion to how it works now.

 

That is quite an accusation. @tigeris Please show me where staff have used their influence to deny suggestions for their personal gain.

 

If user advertise's a company in a thread and make them take responsibility for it

I only see two staff members who posted in that thread - @Panda and @Tyler

Neither of them appear to be using their position as a staff member to influence the outcome of the suggestion and it hasn't been approved or denied at this time.
