I disagree. I would rather him keep doing what he's doing, because it's great!

All we need to know is that he handled our report. We don't need to know the punishment issued or the actions taken against said user(s).

Keep up the good work!

Yeah, this is the feedback thread, not "suck mod ___'s dick for attention" thread.

It doesn't work, everyone does it, just stop.

It's serious feedback from a user whose been around this site for quite some time, and I much prefer written responses to my spam reports, especially if they're incorrect, so that I may follow up or double-check the rules.

Dude, "Done, thanks." has, historically, been the norm for every spam report response. Dave's variation of it is really no different from what is usually done.

Writing a personalized response to each report isn't practical at all -- you should know that.

Stop with generic pls feedback posts. You do a lot of spam reports, which is nice, but it's much better to personalize a report or include information relevant to that specific situation.

Disagreed if you expect a mod to type a specific feedback for each spam report then expect them to take about 4 times the time. I typically just say "thanks for the report" unless it's not a valid report.

I tend to do personalized stuff occasionally, but if it's your typical spam report like accusing without proof or excessive bumping I'll usually just give the ole "Handled."

Trust me, after one page of spam reports stabbing yourself in the eye with a pencil is more preferable. It is monotonous and boring, hence your generic responses some of the time.

I'd rather "Done, thanks" than a beg for feedback, which obviously brings only a source of positive remarks given the circumstance in which the advert is placed. I know it takes quite awhile, I hate them too, especially on this vB version.

He handeled my report very fast and he is a very nice mod!

good guy, helped spammers off my thread!

Great mod, doing a great job!

Hey man, you were really helpful before. Glad to have an objective & chill mod on staff.

Thanks man, I appreciate that.

Taking care of my reports , thank you :)

Amazing guy, took care of my reports in a quick and professional manner! 10/10

Haven't done a trade with him, but when I need to I know I could always go to him.
Also great moderator!

Thanks for everything you do here at Sythe. I really appreciated the help with my ban earlier, it got pushed through so quick. Just keep up the great work man!

No problem Derik, good to have you back and cleared up.

Dave responded to my reports very quickly. Great guy to have on the sythe board

So I decided to see how fast a turtle could cross a football field 3 times compared to Dave archiving one ban report. Sadly to say, the turtle won. When I came home after 93 hours of watching a turtle walk across a field, Dave still had not posted on a new scam report/ban evader report. Kinda absurd.

Hi Joe

Handled my report and helped unban me when I was wrongly banned.

Nothing negative so far, well done.

Good boy.

Nice guy, jew irl so its okay. Love him, ur cute.

#judaism ftw

Helped in a scam report, awesome person :D

helped banned a scammer, very nice cool mod!

Good job on spam reports :D

Thanks for the backup

Dave is the man. Super professional, all around pretty solid guy. Keep up the good work, amigo.

Keep it up man, handles spam reports and does a good job

Bro the struggle after 5 pages of RaSc + RaBe is all too real

This is regarding the the thread http://www.sythe.org/report-scammer-archive/1779164-astrola-blackhat-activities-again.html

I don't see how a twc was justified in this case. I'll try to break this down to the best of my ability.

1. The title in itself is wrong. There is no participation of blackhat activities. There was no evidence of him hacking anything.

2. You're giving him a twc in the off chance that he may use the cracked accounts he might have obtained to sell them here which is circular reasoning, an undisputed fallacy.

3. You said it yourself. There was no evidence of direct involvement, rather interest in checking cracked accounts. His reasoning for checking them was he wanted a free account which is reasonable. Whether he obtained any is still not clear, nor does it add on to or support this case in any way.

4. Lack of evidence, an insufficient investigation, the third option, it's another fallacy.

5. This case is similar to leanbean's in which there wasn't enough evidence to indict him. All accusations are "bogus", and none can be used to appropriately come up with a logical punishment.

6. You should have told the OP of that thread to come back with sufficient evidence.

The twc holds no relevance to the case. I also don't agree with how it's given out so lightly. I have checked for cracked pins of different programs in the past, does that mean I will end up selling them here? I hope you can see how it doesn't make sense to give that person a TWC.

I know I kind of explained this to you but I hope I didn't come of as "my way or the highway." Lol, I spoke to Astrola and he understands why he got the TWC and he knows entirely how to have it removed. Feel free to contact me more if you have any questions about the staff decision though, I don't mind sharing.

Fair enough. It's just that to be completely truthful these reports are tedious as is, and writing a personal message for every report would take ages. However, I can promise to start writing personal messages for the ones that require some type of follow-up or are an incorrect report. I've been doing that for the most part (if you search my reports I'd say about 15% have some type of message where I actually expect the user to read and hopefully respond) but the rest don't really have to be responded to.

Yeah it's honestly just that spam report take time, I hope that's understandable blade. Again I stand by what I said and for reports that require a follow-up or reports that come in that aren't necessary I will happily remind users of the proper rules.

Despite the exams, you've made time to make sure things are still getting done (modscore is quite impressive).

I wish I could say the same for myself, but I appreciate the time management you've done not only for the sake of the forum, but for the Staff as well.

Regards. Great job.

great mod! found reported post

Doing great job in the website. Thanks m8.

Dave is awesome and he gets a lot of the dirty work done before the other mods step in. But he will always be #1 whale to me. :)

Thank you Wolf <3

Good point, and I'm gonna make a topic in the staff lounge about this to get a final verdict. I always assumed the proof of attempting to contact was enough to push the pardon forward but it never hurts to clarify.

I've noticed Dave's been handling a number of my reports in a very prompt manner. Doing a great job mate

Thanks for handling a report I made a while ago didn't realize anyone responded to it so thanks!
