Christmas present for girlfriend

Help me to pick a christmas present for a girlfriend , we are together for 11 months , she's 17 , I have no idea what should I gift her ;s

 

Jewelry has always worked for me.

Look for a nice bracelet/necklace/earrings depending on what she likes to wear.

 

..well, what does she like? What are her hobbies? Is she girly or not so much? Does she like gigs/days out or is she a quiet type?

Kind of hard just with "a girl"

It's a birthstone hourglass necklace, just be sure to get your girlfriends. You can say something like it means the time you've been together and the future or some shit.

 

Also, are you in love with this girl? Being in high school I doubt it (for most) but it does weigh in on the gift giving factor.
A sterling silver bracelet or anklet with a small charm is more gf material at your age.
A necklace is too close to the heart which expresses deeper feelings for her. Unless, you're in love with her, then go with the necklace.
Earrings is far too lame at your age.

What's nice about it is that you can customize the accessories with your own style, and you can engrave it as well for a pretty cheap price.

If you possess any great skill in arts or songwriting then that's probably your best choice. Ideally I would say people like deeper thoughts more than material gifts, but again that depends on the person.

Doesn't have to be overtly artsy though. My friend once soldered together an animated LED array in the shape of a heart and put it in a card and that was enough. My advice would just be to use what you have and be creative.

 

When I had a girlfriend last christmas I just got her a ticket to go and see her favourite band, she was incredibly happy. Stuff like that is simple and usually makes them happy.

Your post doesn't give us much to go on, so jewelry is a good option if she likes to wear it. Most people are saying a necklace or bracelet, but don't forget earrings, a watch, or... even a ring. Use caution on a ring though.

A gift certificate to her favorite store, or even better something from it if you know what she needs/wants.

 

Is it cold where you are at now? If so, maybe a nice scarf, socks, or maybe a pair of gloves. It would be nice to know her hobbies, like others have stated. How much you are willing to spend?

 

Bought my girlfriend a michael kors bag + wallet and an elgato game capture card for christmas this year.... she's 21 and we've been together about a year. Not sure of your budget but girls always love jewelry, handbags, shoes and makeup.

I have no idea why everyone says to give necklaces or jewelry.

Nearly all of the girls I know don't like receiving jewelry really, it's too generic. There are exceptions, but most of the time, they'd rather have something else.

Just get your friend something TOTALLY random that you've talked about before.

For example, I once had a conversation with my friend about beards and stuff and she thought it was funny, so for her birthday, I got her a viking helmet and a beard combo which she thought was really cool (or at least I hope so, she seemed like she really liked it at least xD)

Just go for something unique and you should be fine.
