We have created god in early times to explain why mysterious or unexplainable things happen. As science advanced the denouncement of the church, and god arose. Even with modern ways to try to interpolate god into science, and many efforts made by believers, and the church there will always be a raise with the denouncement of Christianity. Most of life has been solved, the only reason we pray to god today is because we have not yet solved the afterlife.

 

Science has solved the afterlife..

When we die our brains decompose, there is nothing of us left, we're just dead. Our souls don't go anywhere, as the physical soul doesn't exist.
