Why does god insist that you worship him? Is he insecure - or an egomaniac?
    Serious question.

Moreso, how egocentric is Jesus that he'll only return when we've built enough statues and churches for him?

Whether or not I am religious is irrelevant to my answer - God does not insist ANYWHERE that you worship him, that is the choice of the Christian people.

But the bible is the enlightened word of god and it tells me to worship him.

You're a fuckwit, and what you just said makes no sense when quoting what I stated.

Where does it tell you to WORSHIP him though?

There are multiple meanings to the word "Worship"-
What context are you referring to when you say he tells you to worship him?

    The context in:

    Matthew 4:9-10

    Psalm 45:10-11

And many other places I can't be bothered to locate, where I am specifically told to worship god.

Bear in mind the OP is trolling.

Yea I'm not debating anyone haha ^_^
I prefer to not get involved in debates about religion... they can be so mentally straining, whether or not you believe in a deity or god.
This Infidelz kid is really getting on my nerves though...

He doesn't insist we love Him He gives all the choice it's an amazing thing called free will. Secondly He is not an egomaniac but He is a jealous God think of it this way say you have step-children you love absolutely dearly so much you sent your only genetic son to go die for those children to live, now tell me if 8 of the ten children left you completely and went there own way never talking to you and not following any of your directions how would you feel? You gave them all this long excellant guide on how they can live their lives yet they ignored it and the little you ask, for them to obey you and visit you at least maybe 1 time a week. That simple thing they can't do all the while you love them so dearly so vehemently you sacrificed your 1 and only true son you keep them alive each day you feed them clothe them watch out for them socially . Than if they still find it fit to ignore you would you not want to accept them when the world has thrown them out when they are covered with sin and do evil things, things you cannot tolerate why should they dwell with you and your 1 son and the other 2 children who followed you would that make sense? Would you mix spoiled food with fresh food? Or would you throw out the spoiled food and keep the fresh food? So will it be when judgement strikes.

Oh my fucking God, stop preaching around Sythe. This is a Runescape forum, we have no religious connections, go somewhere else to do that shit. The vast majority of the people on this forum, regardless of their religious views, don't even want to hear this shit.

Debates about Religion are extremely dodgy subjects to start on forums, especially this one.

Also, calling people an idiot because they believe in something else / whatever is out of order.

Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, but are their beliefs influenced by others? This has a large effect on what people think and believe.

I myself don't believe in worshipping anything or anyone regardless of what the said person has done or achieved, with or without proof.

Honestly, bro. This is the off topic section. And, you're obviously not sticking to the OP. So, your post is 100% contradictory.

Honestly, bro. This is the off-topic section. Shit like this belongs in the SFA forum. The person I quoted delved off-topic as well and just started preaching.. which I've been seeing a shitload of around the forums the past few days. I accept that I went off-topic and if somebody wants to hand me an infraction for it I'm willing to accept that.

Oh and I'm unsure as to how I'm contradicting myself. The OP itself is spam, or at least belongs in another forum.

No, obviously you haven't read the bible. Or, you've been a sheep, only read the gospels, and think those are the only parts of the bible that exist. And I have most definitely read through the bible - so don't say that I have not.

God doesn't insist, i'm pretty sure he/she/it wouldn't give a F*ck about what you wanted to do. As for the bible, can't even trust it. If you were to talk to "God" "Jesus" and told him you didn't believe in him or his ideas but respected them but still wanted to resort to your own path he should still love you and support you. I don't know why it's been made such a huge deal that if you don't believe in "God" you're F*cked. Stupid and gullible minds, no one thinks on their own.. My parents are "Christian" but they never pushed it on to me. But you have these Extremist Christians pushing their religion hard and claiming it's a sin if you don't believe. Craziees..
