I've always maintained the stance, that while holding a position within the staff team, you should be community orientated/active, aside doing 'mod-score' esque activities only to fulfil the required activity quota. Granted, different staff members excel at different avenues of moderation, however, the aforementioned is always something I've been an advocate for - before I was staff, while I was on staff, and also now after I've retired.

Understandably this applies more so to Sectionals and Globals, due to the nature of said roles, compared to that of an Admin.

However, in saying that, I'm glad that you've maintained your community orientated activity. Granted you're new to the role, and like most, everyone has their dancing shoes on during the first few months. I expect in time your community activity to decline, which is not necessarily a negative criticism, more so the natural route your role takes.

Anyway, congratulations on your promo.

Rose through the ranks quickly, most would likely say to quickly at the time.

He however has put in a lot of effort into this site, more than most, he is also arguably the easiest to contact of the administration(if you wish to), He has the added benefit of being an actual market user aswell, for to long to many non-market users have held top positions on the site, its left some unfavorable market policies that have been around far to long and it sounds as though Champ on some level understands the issues on a level I believe most of his fellow administration does not, you can be as intelligent as you want but until you actually do something, how can you truly relate to the pains of the market? He at least grasps our main markets and has been in actual traders shoes.

I think it was a good move promoting him, perhaps a little fast but a good move nevertheless.

My only neutral/negative feedback would try to expand your knowledge of the other markets, RS & RSPS are good and all but if you could expand your knowledge out you might find that you realize some policies for other games are old and outdated or just don't make sense, if I had to change one thing about you it would probably be just a more *general* market knowledge, right now I feel you may be to specific in RS alone.

I think if you quizzed the staff team you would find to many moderators/admins just have general RS knowledge, those policies and knowledge tend to trickle down and fundamentally change the site due to their rulings, a more all-around administrator outside more than just RS whos market-active would be a breathe of fresh air.

Good step for the site overall though, a lot more positive than negative.

Keeps the forums as clean as he can, as well as keeping suggestions as up to date as possible. Always nice to see someone with such a passion for keeping the site clean and updated.

I would like to leave Feedback on Champs. I havent seen alot RAS selection and way how things handled over there but i feel champs way ..or all (not sure) is litle bit too agressive.
I fully understand that you guys are small community to handdle multiple things RAS, moderation list goes on and on.. thats why this case was tried do fast as possible by champs. But in the fact i feel if i get message from champ
"you have 5 minute to solve this or you are going be DNT" obviously my react will be absolute panic and try my everything keep sythe account clean wich leads false reports by victim about me examble victim told something what i dint said at any point.
but i was too scared about that 5 minute timer i had no time to show any proof about that "victim" is lying about some things or maybe there was some misunderstood in between communication or something. Thats why i suggested make Group with "victim" Champs and me to sort this out.
So there would be not misunderstanding. So i feel about giving 5 minutes to solve problem x should not be way to handdle things when the "scammer" wich i was in this case is fully cooperating and answering messages in minutes after reciveing.

After ive paid him in private server champ asked what i paid to him.ive told it to be about 800m + 2 claws in private server. this was not properly paid this amount was option 20-25m in my option.
i knew its not right amount he won from giveaway but he still wished to that and i could offered him more that private server currency but i did not have any spare to give out.

After i paid him that 1.2B on private server day later he contact me and needs more gold.
Ive clearly told him i think i value its more than champ does ( about i gave on private server.) and asked him to refund private server so i can pay fully in 07.
After that images show HIM value the gold at 25m after MY option its worth about 20-25 ( based on sythe selling threads.) and ask to give him 25m 07 gold.

Champ is a great asset to the site and always helps almost immediately when I message him! Thanks for all the hard work!

 

Most likely the kindest, most professional and most helpful staff-member in existance ever. Where others, such as myself, would refer others to other staff members Champ most likely knows it all and when you think you've bothered him with enough, he'll most likely question you in a kind way whether or not that was all he could help with. Sad to see him a tiny bit less active, but please, forever stay a Champ.

 

This thread hasn't been posted on since last year! I must say although there are periods of time when he goes inactive, when he does return he does a good job and doesn't slack off. He immediately handles any problems which have not been dealt with and doesn't stall or waste time. Great work.
