CDT leadership changing again

Nobody listened to me, nor Darkest Dream. Me, DD, and TTB all were willing to hold 1/3rd of it in our Circle wallets.

Meh, the CDT needed a change, just don't think Syed was the change it needed.

You can hold it as USD. Then if btc goes up, you lose BTC. If btc goes down, they give you free BTC to maintain the same amount of USD you added.

 

Many of us staff members actually applied to CDT before they were staff (including me), why would they suddenly have to leave the CDT now that they got promoted?

 

Exactly, some staff are actually dedicated to moderating the forum AND helping the community.

Thank you for that explanation. It was much needed after reading that cluster-fuck in the Spam section.

 

I really wish people had just talked to me instead of creating a cluster-fuck. I still haven't read it, and I don't know if I should for my mental health. But really, if all it takes is a few spam forum threads to get @Sythe to do something like this, then where the hell were you in December 2013?

What you said in your previous post is exactly what I was trying to say, without the information you have. That thread was unnecessary, disgraceful and disrespectful. Yet it got chucked back in my face, with claims that it was a cover up for the loss that Bogla received. The mere fact that a thread was left open like that in SF, maybe in the community section, to minimize the trolls. But it was left open, and now we have this drastic decision which has left half the staff/cdt staff and some CDT members absolutely confused as to what is happening.


@Sythe if you wanted to have gaming related aspect, and people to run that then why not create a separate group for it. This irrational decision to change the leader is as of now a very negative impact on a lot of us. Considering I've just joined five days ago, purely for the aspect that my skills could be attributed to helping the CDT maintain the events, and implement new events. This whole reshuffle as soon as new leaders were already put in, needed to be thought out properly. Not based on what happened with the raffle situation. You're attempting to hit two idea's with one stone. Implement a gaming aspect/have a community run CDT. It's pretty much a shambles atm. The least you could of done was acknowledge current staff and CDT on exactly what you're proposing rather then throwing us out in the dirt and expecting Syed to deal with it.

 

@Sythe do you pretty much want staff to be the police officers of the website while the CDT is run by citizens essentially? i think it's a net positive for the community if i'm understanding this correctly.

And then changes the % required for the polls to pass without talking to anybody
And then posts saying that he can disregard our votes on polls if we dont have "solid reasoning" and provides us with no metric to what that is

 

That's why he is in CDT and not staff.
How's your first day in CDT, as a member and leader? I'm sure you were the right fit, tested and built for it.
