Bumps + my old rank!

Yeh but mine was removed when my account was hacked so it got banned. Before that I had two ranks! TWC and cracker head. When I got unbanned by Richard I had no ranks at all no TWC and no cracker head but someone re applied the TWC but not the cracker head rank. I can't remember who it was! I don't need to lie about a rank if its going to cause a massive ordeal then I just won't bother. But if its something which isn't going to cause any hassle or harm to anyone then id like it back you know.

I see what your saying though man! But there's hardly any 05 users left now any way.

 

You have no proof of having it, unless there are logs for ranks applied (doubtful), you most likely will not get it back. You're lucky anyway, most 05 users who go inactive and re-appear out of nowhere have had their join dates amended to 2011/2012 due to the sheer amount of 05/06 accounts that have been recovered.

Should just stop asking for it.

You have either been lurking around for a long time then or you are doing a bad job vading.

 

I could understand why it would be such a problem if it gave you staff powers. But it doesn't. It was just a fun rank given to me by an Admin back in 06 when I earned it. I don't see why it's that much of a problem you guys are making it out to be.

Just getting things straight, I'm not making a problem of it and don't have any problems if you'd get it back. However, I do think people would trust you easier with a fun rank under your name, especially people who are new to the site. Nowadays people are kind of hungry for fun-ranks, I think because it makes you seem more 'trusted' and for the 'e-fame'.

 

Fun Ranks appear to naive and new users as a symbol of trust.

 

Not really.. So does having a donator rank not symbolise trust either then?

Pretty much, fun ranks are rewarded to the people who made them or staff when they hit a modlog target nowadays, they aren't given out for just about anything. I've googled you about it and can't find anything, gonna have a quick look through your threads/posts soon to check.

 

There wasn't a post about me getting the rank bro haha. I was on IRC with Jansen and Vic. There is no way of clarifying it then to get hold of either of the two!
