    Building your own computer

I have some questions about building a computer. I have an idle motherboard i want that does not have a proccessor, does it matter what type of proccessor I have for the motherboard?

Also do all the parts have to be specifically made for the motherboard?like if you get an ASUS motherboard you have to get an ASUS processor or RAM thing...?

This is assuming that its new...

It depends is the motherboard LGA775 or AM2?
Also ASUS dosnt make processors i dont think..and if they did i wouldnt buy because they make motherboards not processors.
If its LGA775 then get a Intel Processor and if its AM2 get AMD.
And it dosnt matter what RAM you get just as long as its DDR2

yep it would run both really good, You dont need much of a system to run web based games but if you put those three together you can run web based games perfectly and alot of DVD/CD games that you get from the store pretty well also

umm, You could get a sound card if you wanted 5.1 sound around your room. But that will have just the 2 speakers which is fine too.

And they say the exact same processor on the bundle package that i mentioned...Damn im good hahaha
