    Silly noobs.

OT: Who cares? Either way they are making money. They may be making more money with legitimate members but it's not like they don't make any money off botters either. I don't think that they care, so why should we?

    Uncalled for.

It's true Jagex does earn a lot of money from the advertisements on their site, however that is no proof they earn more money from legit players. A big part of the legit Runescape community uses clients too, which would mean the same thing. Besides, the majority of Runescape players are botting. Proof is that there are much less players playing after an update, when the bots don't work. Fact is, there is a very large amount of bots with membership, and they do earn Jagex a large sum of money every month.

I agree that 'they won't ban us because of the money they make from us' is not accepted by Jagex and they do ban macroers. However, Jagex doesn't appear to care much about the macroers. Sure, they ban a small part of the bots, but they don't add much new systems to prevent the use of bots. They don't do as much against them as they could do.

I highly doubt 'a lot' of memberships are bought with stolen credit cards. Almost none of the accounts upgraded with upgrades sold on this site and other blackmarkets are given a negative credit balance because they were bought with stolen cards. Or, at least, that's my experience. I don't see any proof to support your point.

Jagex makes much, much more from advertisements and membership. Not sure why you post a site which is not registered to Jagex. Again, this isn't proof to support your point.

I do understand where you are coming from, but you post a lot of unproven stuff in a very rude way. And, in my opinion, most of what you said are pure assumptions which are very unlikely to be true.

never seen it this way but i don't think they "loose" money with bots its still memberships so how can they "loose" money if the bot didn't exist?

Just FYI, back in the day Jagex released finacial reports on there websites and membership accounted for a LARGE majority of their money, not advertising.

Look at the stacks of membership cards a lot of people on this site buy for their botfarms and their account businesses - I think 1 person buying 30 membership cards for 2 months worth of bots is more valuable than 1 person going to their homepage and viewing an ad for .003 cents
