What I find annoying is how everyone goes craaay when something happens in America, but much worse shit that goes on in countries like Afghanistan are disregarded by the general public.

That's not what I was referring to, I said "general public", so pretty much anyone from around the world, including here in Australia.

I don't see why people are trying to make some type of battle over which country is suffering the most.

Of course American media is going to broadcast a bombing that happened in AMERICA over one that happened in a foreign country.

It's the main topic of news in the UK at the moment. I'd rather hear about what was going on in my own country, but oh well.

I wonder if he's going to live through the hospitalization process...all news outlets are saying is he is in "serious condition"...FBI said not to release his actual prognosis I read....so it must be pretty bad..

I'm watching this case with intense interest. Really curious to see his motives. He must be feeling pretty low ATM. Hope police don't resort to torture in order to extract information.

All of this is too close to home. I live in Connecticut, and first it was Sandy Hook, and now Boston. Yikes. :( It truly isn't safe to live anywhere anymore.
