Big Bang Theory

i think the big bang theory is a load of rubbish because it always has that question "what about before that?"

I find its not something that deals with faith because the big bang was just for earth it self. There has to be a higher being can anyone ask them selfs what was before the big bang?

Sorry its not rubbish as Scientists have already proved it . Its a fact now like diansorurs . So u can't disapprove it . All atheists did their best to destroy it as it considered a big proof of god existence . If the universe was one spot and the big bang made it ,then who created this spot . It leads us to only one way . God created it .
Universum never came. Its always been there, thats my option.
Have u ever knows that the universe is getting Bigger every day since we were here . This means that someday the universe was only very small thing and the big bang has already been proved . Search google and u will know that .

No. The big bang theory is an unproven, unprovable hypothesis.

All atheists did their best to destroy it as it considered a big proof of god existence . If the universe was one spot and the big bang made it ,then who created this spot . It leads us to only one way . God created it .
Thats just stupid. Even if there were sufficient evidence to justify belief in the big bang theory that does not automatically presuppose god. Why would it? An unknown is, as an unknown is. You don't fill the cracks with religious doctrine. You continue to apply the scientific method and as such say "we don't know."

To put this in perspective, if we were reacting chemicals in a lab. And someone said "this evidence doesn't fit with the experimental model" and you came up to them and said "ah ha! therefore god must have made and changed the chemicals while they were reacting" then you'd sound exactly like the prat you are.

An unknown is not a blank cheque for you to write on as you please. It is just something that is, as yet, undiscovered.

Have u ever knows that the universe is getting Bigger every day since we were here . This means that someday the universe was only very small thing and the big bang has already been proved . Search google and u will know that .
Slippery slope fallacy

http://www.nizkor.org/features/fallacies/slippery-slope.html

Just because a series of events are taking place, such as progressively warmer oceans or progressively larger universe, does not constitute evidence that either the earth was once very cold, nor that the universe was once very small.

Indeed, if you were ever to review any natural science the first thing you would most probably discover is that natural processes occur in natural cycles. And that linear extrapolation does not fit anywhere in nature.

So not only is it unreasonable for you to conclude, without evidence, that the universe was once very small, it is also against the grain of thousands of years of observations about reality.

I'm Sorry sythe but u have the most complicated English I have ever seen . I can't understand 90% of ur post . I don't also want to talk about God existence here as its not God existence topic . Anyway I don't say that big bang is the prove but I said its good proof for ppl who kept saying that the universe was always there . I put my opinion and I think its one of the proves of god existence. If u are Atheist and think we came from one cell and evaluated be my guest in Do u believe in God ? thread But please with easier language .

So you are saying that this isn't a god thread, so my reply to your post about god, in this non-god thread, is inappropriate? Then you further go on to say that it is your opinion that the big bang justifies god.

Do you belong in SFA? This seems rather illogical to me.

Science has shown that the universe is expanding, which going back would ultimately lead to a single point of origin. Therefore the question is whether it was a 'bang' that was at the start, and if so what was there before that. If it was a 'big bang', how did the material get there to begin with?

I do believe in the big bang. There is proof that the universe is expanding, and that everything is growing farther and farther apart from one another. Therefore at some point in time, everything in the universe had to be infintesimaly small. But like sythe said, maybe the universe is cyclic, maybe everything will reach a point where gravity becomes so strong that it begins to overwhelm the force of expansion and begins to draw everything back in once again and everything happens all over again. Would you say thats valid?

without reading much of the above posts, im not sure if this has been said. I am currently reading 'Angles and Demons' by Dan Brown - same author who wrote 'the Da Vinci Code'.

He has some scientific opinions on life's creation - specifically regarding Antimatter - the opposite of an Atom (negative charges, instead of positive).

antimatter is supposed to hold 10x more power than Nuclear fisson and will 'annihilate' when it comes into contact with anything - even air. (they hold the Antimatter in airtight capsules with two opposite magnetic forces fighting eachother, causing the Antimatter to be suspended in nothingness.

This Antimatter does exist - it is not fiction. However, the story of Robert Langdon and the attack on the Vatican is..

this kind of power actually scares me - especially in the hands of a terrorist.

The idea of the big bang was supposedly the forcing of two Atoms to crash together, creating an Antimatter - exactly how the universe was created.

In CERN, a similar experiment was conducted, and created 'something from nothing' - exactly the Big Bang theory.

Now, i do believe his, however i am also a Christian, and believe God (or some divine power) does have a ruling over us, in creating such a fine balance in the universe.

This is just my opinion. thanks for reading.

They are building a bigger version of cern in switzerland called the LHC (large hadron collider), its said to be 7x more powerful.

oh my god.. well thats the end of the world as i know it. I am all for studying the creation of life, meaning of life, etc. but almost senseless creation of such a powerful substance seems almost taking it too far. If it fell into the wrong hands..

basically what it does is takes hydrogen atoms and makes them lose their electron, and makes them travel through a tube at almost the speed of light, then they crash into each other. Only a small percentage will actualy impact each other, and only a small percentage of those will actualy burst apart. But what they are hoping for is that they will find evidence of supersymetry called sparticles, which has to do with the string theory.

Now the thing is that it is all very confusing. Now say that there is no god and that everything just fell into place from the big bang scattering matter accross the universe, well whats after that and if there is a god what created him basically we will never know unfortunately it is basically impossible to know what the meaning of all that existence is here there are a million ideas out there and the actual truth may be different than what we expected.
