    Beware of playerauctions

Hey guys I'm new to sythe so sorry if this is in the wrong spot. But just wanting to warn member and im sure some may already know but player auctions is not 100% buyer safe as it advertises and even with insurance you can still get scammed.. I purchased 2 accounts safely and all went well.. Thinking I was protected by insurance i purchased another account and built up around 50m in a week from an ags pk and other random stuff.. Well the account gets recovered so I reported a claim and here it is 3 weeks later and I'm still fighting to get a refund or credit. My first response back was "you confirmed the recovery questions" and "we need proof that the original owner has recovered the account" now how the heck am I suppose to prove that? I can prove that It's obvious the original owner is the person who has more information than I do to reclaim because the reclaim process ask for 3 oldest passwords and stuff like that.. The sad thing is this is happening all over playerauctions people of found out they can sell and reclaim and keep doing it... You can scroll threw accounts click on a few then look at the buyers feedback and see where he sold that same account 2-4 weeks ago! It's ridiculous hoping some from PA will recieve this message and try to fix something I understand they can't control everything but why even sell "insurance" if it isn't going to protect the buyer?

    Beware of playerauctions

i've only bought off them twice and it was two different accounts i purchased insurance with both, one for $80 and another for $180... they both got recovered within 3 days of purchase... it took me months to get the refunds after being ignored and left sitting there until the session timed out every single conversation i tried proving or talking about my claims.. i'd never shop with them again.

Of course :S I wouldn't rely on their "free of charge" services, theres basically nothing they can do. They just put that there to make it seem safer I guess.

Just be smart with who you do your transactions with (Use an mm, or make sure the trader is heavily vouched/donated). Otherwise, you won't be able to make any online sales cause no ones gonna trust you either.

It's ultimately more of an issue with Account sales, because you have to hope the seller never attempts to recover the account. Normally, scams can only happen DURING the transaction, I.E. take the gold and block the person on Skype without payment. Once you receive your payment, you know you're safe. Unfortunately, accounts don't work that way.

Your best bet for buying accounts is from extremely trusted users on Sythe or creating one yourself and paying for it to be power-leveled.

Sorry to see you lost the account you bought!

I thought this site was legit, still kind of do. Ive made some transactions here. The Live Support is really fast, but anything having to do with refund takes ages, and they dont exactly care. You can never fully guarantee they won't recover the account, you have to see how much feedback they have, but then again that could be false too. Its a risk factor, but I must say I've had my money returned before from them.

How can they refund you just because u said the account got recovered? Everyone would then be buying accounts then claiming they get recovered and getting refunds?

This is why u shouldnt ever buy accounts, or if u really must, buy it from someone incredibly trusted.

    Beware of playerauctions

My mind is literally blown each time i read a thread like this. It's almost 2016! How do people still believe that buying an RS account is anywhere even remotely safe? Even with Playerauctions their claims they 100% CANNOT protect you against the original owner recovering the account. And let's not even talk about the likely hood that the account will (soon or in time) get locked because the new ip differs from the creators IP. I used to middleman on powerbot and the first thing i did was inform people of the actual risks of buying an account. (which is something every MM should do imo, rather than wanting that commission money).

    Beware of playerauctions

I honestly think that people who have one successful account sale just leads them to believe that they'll be fine. Also, most newer members come in and see this amazing option to purchase an already made account instead of having to grind, so they assume that it's just something that commonly goes through without an issue.

When I started on here it took a couple of weeks to realise the whole "If it's too good to be true, it probably is" idea.
