    Are you getting a next gen console?
    I think the Wii U is great because it has a good range of games like
    Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
    Mario Games
    Resident Evil
    Pikman
    ZombiU
    Good range of family and party games

    Also you can get some of the common xbox and playstation games on it like Cod. The new gamepad on the Wii u also looks nice and unique

    Are you getting a next gen console?
    The community for common xbox etc games would be considerably smaller on Wii U though which would suck for me. Especially in New Zealand where the community is naturally smaller than america etc since we can only game with Nz/Oz for decent reception.

    Also I've heard the kinect for xbox one is pretty amazing. Doubt I'll ever use it that much if I get one but yeh.

    I will not be investing in any of the new consoles right away for two reasons:

    1. Do not have the budget for one.
    2. I never buy consoles when they first come out. I always wait and see the global reaction to the systems before I take the plunge.
