Yeah the PS2 emulator is the only one that fucks up for me too (all the other ones it would be surprising if they were too taxing rofl)

brb trying to play ps2 games on 6 fps. Only games that work properly on it for me are Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 and FFX but FF runs at like 1/2 framerate in cutscenes

Do you know if there is any way I can connect my Wireless Xbox controller to my PC? This discussion has made me want to fire up kingdom hearts 2 lol.

As for splitscreen, as much as I detest COD now, it is decent for splitscreen and splitscreen online play. Asides from that you also have Halo, Madden, Minecraft etc that are decent splitscreen games.

 

kingdom hearts 3 is coming out. A Kingdom hearts 2.5hd will also be coming out in 2014 lol.

I never actually liked using my Xbox controller, but there is a way with Motioninjoy... but that is the "best" one for PS3 controllers. I'm sure there is a better program for Xbox 360s, especially since you can just buy an adapter from M-soft to use it on your computer =p. It is sometimes buggy, but you learn how to deal with everything as you go on.

Now, the only problem that I've encountered is that you have to be online in order to start up the program for some reason. I haven't looked into it, but since you couch potato it shouldn't be a problem... but I like to have little gaming sessions outside and in a car -wink- so I have to remember to boot up the program beforehand.

 

Yeah I know of motioninjoy. There is an add-on called lilypad I believe which is for the xbox controllers. Any idea how much these adapters are?

I never had a problem having to be online when I used motioninjoy either btw, that was one of the reasons I liked it so much since at the time when I was using it a lot I didn't have internet access.

If they are far away it doesn't matter since you'll get chitty reception

After some research during class with friends (research & talk instead of accounting lol), it seems the only real difference between the consoles now is the exclusive games they have

PS3 seems to have more but xbox one seems to have better ones

Ryse & Project spark are the most notable of them imo

 

PS4 will also run more games in 1080p.
