Are rwt bans instant?

If possible I'd ask the person you're buying/selling gold too to use a high levelled account.

I would just use trusted gold sites. You can’t go wrong with doing research on gold sites before purchasing just don’t go all out and purchase 2B and expect to to that everytime. Also don’t use fresh lvl 3 accounts that is very risky and jagex targets new accounts for RWT.

 

It depends, no matter what anyone tells you including “trusted” gold sites, it’s all random based. You raise flags for certain amounts different amounts of trades they way it was traded but yet it’s still all random.

I've bought over 2B worth on my main, never been banned once. Only on my mule accounts really.

 

From my experience it was instant upon being noticed/Flagged by them. Only ever happened once out of countless times.

 

I’ve sold someone 110m before and he was instantly banned, but my account I sold the gp to him from (level 3 but 10+ year old account) wasn’t banned. It was kind of odd and had me wondering if maybe jagex was watching my other accounts after that.

 

I've seen some weird ass bans, from personal experience mine was. Basically, if you're rwting or staking money that isn't yours, the ban can either happen directly after the stake is completed, or you just get banned on the spot where an admin types the command.

 

I've brought loads of gold over the years.. Never have i been banned, Maybe if your buying huge amounts at once then yeah? But i think you'd get flagged up and not instantly banned

 

I've had several RWT bans. A few were within 60 seconds of trading. These were normally level 3 accounts that I had RWT'd on previously. I've had a couple main accounts banned those tended to be banned within 12 hours of trading.

I tend to use mobile now for RWT and make sure I'm on a mobile network and not my home wifi. Seems to help but maybe it's just a coincidence.

 

It depends on the circumstances, where you trade, trade pattern, fresh account (level 3). Most of the time, they will just flag your account. However you can be unlucky and get banned quite quickly.

 

I've always assumed jagex turn a bit of blind eye to BUYERS, unless they buy in vast quantity

I've bought a fair amount of the years and never really given it much thought haha. I reckon it's all completely luck-based as there are too many buyers. If they check you, you get banned

 

I drop shit in lvl 1 wilderness, instantly spawns. Tracked maybe, but definitely harder i'd imagine.

 

I've had legitimate friends be banned for accidentally trading with gold selling accounts while selling/trading rare names, which is allowed on rs(i think).

 

I’ve purchased over 1b this past year. Never had an issue?

 

Usually buying gold has a MUCH less risk than selling
