Are rwt bans instant?

I was wondering when you buy gold do you almost always directly get banned?
Or is it possible that you can get banned months later?

 

it depends if its a manual/or triggered after huge trades.

 

Every few months ive been buying like 100-200m
Wondering if it will catch up with me one day.

 

thats a small amount to worry about id suggest buying from players and not big shops less risk imo and avoid trading in lumb/f2p/arena places

 

Any suggestions where i should buy?

My main just got banned. Don't do it.

 

I've seen a few posts with people saying they've been banned seconds after receiving GP one from 100M one was with 1B i dont tihnk anyone safe.

 

I got banned on a staker account I bought off here 7 days after buying it. It wasn’t instant ban happened while I was asleep I also had never sold or bought any gp.

 

how much did you buy and how long before u got banned?

 

He bought 100M - 2 mins later he was banned - 1.9k total main (osrs)

 

Ouch, kinda weird how ive bought maybe 1b over 1 year period and still not even a warning, i suppose i am lucky.

 

Interesting. I’ve bought +\- 350 usd worth of Gold the last week, no bans bought on 2k Ttl main. Used some big some medium weight pushers. Multiple trades a day. No ban.
The sellers mule was probably flagged and they banned the mule + buyers.


It’d be good for the community to know who the fk isn’t being clever

 

But is it possible the seller gets banned 2 months later and buyers from 2 months ago would also be banned?
or is it harder to track after a longer time period?

 

I’m pretty sure they can see all trades since the creation date of your account.

 

Weird thing is, the sellers mule was untouched, i only know because he reached out too me to see if it was unbanable, unfortunately though jagex don't take a second look at RWT bans.
All i can really think is they where watching his account but then why wasn't the sellers mule banned?

 

I’d assume by keeping the mule live they can just keep watching the transactions and ban more players.

Or maybe they leave some be and give them a free pass

Hmm let the Seller keep his mule and make more money irl?
I don't see Jagex doing that they hate anyone making profit from there game
