I'd be for removing vouch requirements, as long as requiring a minumum deposit for new services. The Deposit could be returned after "x amount of vouches" or not at all. Just tossing some ideas out. (For Sellers with no Vouches)

That alone would negate a lot of Scammers. For the WTB threads I completely agree. Having to add multiple discords for better deals is a nuisance when you could just make a post, and get your best quotes on the Thread, and then proceed to choose who you want.
You would be adding a different regulation to this section which defeats the purpose of @BlackBlasses suggestion.

And to add to your reply; Suggestions regarding deposits are on the Do Not Suggest list for legal issues, but I appreciate the idea and effort.

Support. At the end of the day just like all other categories it's up to the person who's buying the service to decide if they deem the person they are using trusted. Might we see more scams? Absolutely, but we should let people use their own discretion on who they allow on their account.

This seems like a common sense suggestion implementation to me.

So far, the few non supporters seem to mostly be those whose businesses have a financial incentive by opposing additional competition. However, competition is generally a good thing for the marketplace and potential customers.

We often preach that Sythe is a “free market.” I don’t agree with an artificial and arbitrary barrier to entry, particularly when we aren’t applying similar rules to other higher risk areas of the forum (IE - ironman servicing, which has had lots of high value and controversial reports and rulings over the years).

To Kyle’s point, we let users make decisions, based upon their own judgement, regarding whether they trust a services, seller, buyer, etc. for the rest of the forum. I don’t see why we should be doing something different here.

I am also always a proponent of education above governance.

Support!

Kyle summed it up nicely.

Should be treated like other sections for services, where the same problem can occur regarding new users access to account.

Support, good post OP

Well thought suggestion. I like it the idea of that infernal services is not different from any other services like PvM services, which is also high requirement sometimes, if you ordered ToB Combat Achievements, but that doesn't require 100 vouches or any prerequisite as well. (if someone didn't mention that already).

The difference is near to none, arguably the wealth being at risk with Combat Achievements compared can sometimes be greater or similar to that of an infernal without requiring a prerequisite of whatever.

I support, very nice suggestion.
