[APPROVED]CDT Events Section.

I think this could be a good way of getting people more aware of events and lead more people into the actual community. Since if you are a fairly new member of sythe you might not look around as much into the community threads, but if the Events had a separate section perhaps more members would participate and get more involved with the community.

 

True, I found those community events just after like few months of being active here, earlier never knew they existed or how to get those event miniranks. So I support this one

I still think it is a good idea for CDT to have its own section where all the events are in one place and voting as well

 

The question is why is it denied its a simple thing and helps the sythe community, well maby it can pass now if it gets enough support.

 

yes - community general is a mix between CDT stuff and people trying to actually talk

 

Like all things adding and removing sections can be a part of the forum redesign, I'll tag @Shin here and see if he responds. If not then I'll just flatout support. Although it won't be implemented...

Support, CDT events do get buried quickly.

 

Cool idea, but looks like it was turned down in the past. So I'll trust that it was for good reason.

 

This will most likely be denied but I'll support aswell because not only do the CDT events get buried away; the actual threads in Community General do aswell. It's mainly an events section now.

It'll make the events more visible and ultimately get more people involved. Like others have said above, it took many months before I realised such events even existed.

 

I'm not opposed to trying it out. It can replace Community Servers and termed "Community Events."

If the RSPS is relaunched or some other server is added, it could be located in that section as well.

 

Add this please @Shin, I found out about community events years after joining and just because I started lurking out the forum, these events are fun af and its a great opportunity to get involved in the community, support 100%

CDT events are a lot of fun. To be honest, I didn’t really find out about them a long while after joining.

Also, got a dedicated team keeping it alive and thriving. I see no negatives in this.

 

support. have had trouble finding things. and then the voting section for like miniranks is in a different community input section. just honestly gotten to where i google "Sythe (insert event details)" to find it.

A CDT section for EVERYTHING would be nice - The event, the voting, the results. All in one place.​

 

I'm also not opposed either. The events in community general aren't getting enough exposure and replacing the Community Servers section wouldn't do any harm as they're quite inactive.
